    Note : Immersive Weapons DOES NOT have an MCM option, and currently no plans have been announced to include one.

    *Troubleshooting*

    Most issues - such as 'invisible weapons' - indicate the mod is NOT installed correctly, or that there is a mod/load order conflict. Ensure all required mod files have been installed properly and that the load order - including any necessary patches - is correct.

    Note #1 : there is no .BSA file in Version 2 - all textures and meshes are individual files. 
    Note #2 : NMM may not install this mod correctly.

    Due to the number of files in IW V2 the use of a mod manager to install the mod is recommended. For a manual installation copy the
    Immersive Weapons.esp file and the following four main sub-folders (along with all the files they contain) to the DATA folder:

    /meshes
    /scripts
    /seq
    /textures

    *Uninstalling the mod*

    Uninstalling the mod mid-game is NOT recommended - preferably start a new game after uninstalling.

    To do so delete Immersive Weapons.esp and the four folders listed above.

    *'Disappearing weapons'*

    Weapons aren't vanishing from inventory, rather, they're being broken down - unintentionally - at a smelter. To avoid this check the smelter menu when creating ingots or drop/store the weapon(s) beforehand.

    For some reason since i downloaded the mod, i have no more dual wielding enemys? i use no other weapon mods,only spells.and i downloaded the wildcat patch still idk... please help

    is there DLC content in this mod?
    like more crossbows or bolts or some morrowind based weapons?

    Hey just wondering if there's any known ctd on startup with this mod. This is the only mod I have (and the only one I'll use) for weapons so I'm confused as to what the issue is. The only other mod I have that adds equipment is Immersive Armors, and deactivating that and reenabling IW doesn't seem to be working.... Any help or input would be much appreciated, thanks!

    Looks like a fantastic mod and can't wait to figure this out so I can ride around with a scythe hahaha

    Wait, does the Wraith Scythe have a different model in special edition than in the original? Is there any way to revert that?

    Caused a black face bug on Jarl Balgruuf. Removing this mod fixed the issue.
     
    probably user error on my behalf.

      its because you likely loaded this mod's esp after your npc overhaul. some named npcs have weapons from this mod, but this mod cant give them the weapons without modifying their appearance too. 

      thats why you need a patch if you use a mod that change the appearance the npcs that get affected by this mod too.

      Hey there, I just been dealing with this issue myself, it came down to an NPC overhaul mod (High Poly NPC Overhaul specifically)
      Solved by grabbing the appropriate patch for Immersive Weapons - High Poly NPC Overhaul here, it contains every patch for the addon in this case, I just removed the ones I dont have from the load order and Jarl Balgruuf's face is as it should be now .

    For some reason te mod will come up in the mods section ingame but wont be activated. Anyone else have this problem?

    I'm wondering how you find these "uncraftable weapons".


    The only reason I knew about these weapons was that once a Foresworn NPC had once of these weapons (it's been so long I forgot which). I've never encountered these weapons again. How you find these weapons? Or do they appear based on the roll of a dice, and odds are you'll never encounter them?

      To my knowledge they just pop up as random loot after a certain level (I don't recall what level).

      Or, just say screw it and console them in, because they are cool but not even that powerful compared to other high level staves, so it seems dumb how you find them later and at random.

      I wonder if it's a "leveled list" problem. I wouldn't even know how to prove that or fix it on my own.

    Seems like the last few months of comments have been nothing but trouble, does anyone think I should even bother trying to install this for SE?

      Everyone knows this mod and just download it without saying anything, so all of comments will be only about encountered problems.
      I used this mod for 2 playthrougs and never had issues. Just patch it correctly, look up load order and give it a try.

      There is a lot of commotion on whether the mod and the Armor version are worth it, but honestly I have used both for years on countless load orders, including heavily modded ones, and they  like a charm each time. If you run an extremely heavily scripted load order maybe skip, but it won't have much of an impact as mods like Wet and Cold or TK Dodge.
