About this mod

This is just my personal modlist's layout for utilizing Wheeler, OCPA, TK Dodge RE, SkyrimSouls, Quickloot EE and Dynamic Activation Key!

Permissions and credits
Ever get tired of trying to decipher other people's control schemes because they mapped 10,000 things to the controller? Well that's where I made my own! I downloaded Wheeler in hopes of finding something amazing and I DID, so now I had a looming issue of where was I going to map this thing to? I have finally found a way to keep the control scheme somewhat vanilla-esque while utilizing all the features of Wheeler, Skyrim Souls Dpad inventory navigation, Quickloot EE, TK Dodge and Dynamic Activation Key!

Let's start with the Wheeler controls, this required modification of dMenu's Wheeler control settings to achieve:

  • Dpad up: Open Wheeler (Outside of inventory)
  • Start: Open Wheeler (Inside of inventory)
  • RB: Next item in slot
  • LB: Previous item in slot
  • RT: Place highlighted item in slot/Equip item to right-hand
  • LT: Delete key/Equip item to left-hand
  • A: Add Wheel
  • B: Add slot to current wheel
  • Dpad right: Next Wheel
  • Dpad left: Previous Wheel

Now we can set up TK Dodge, Dynamic Activation Key, and OCPA in their respective MCMs:

  • TK Dodge: Dodge key = LB, turn off double tap stick input!
  • Dynamic Activation Hotkey (Inside the MCM Settings Loader, sold seperately): Controller Hotkey = Back
  • OCPA: Hotkey = RB

With that out of the way, it gives us a good dynamic access to all of these mods by using the following controlmap:

  • Start: Journal
  • Back: Modifier Key
  • Back + Start: Wait
  • Back + LT: Map
  • Back + RT: Shout
  • Back + A: Dynamic Activation Hotkey
  • A: Interact
  • B: Tween Menu
  • Y: Jump
  • X: Sheathe
  • RB: Power Attack
  • RT: Light Attack
  • LB: Sprint/Dodge
  • LT: Block/Left-hand
  • R3: Lock-on/POV
  • L3: Sneak
  • Dpad Up: Wheeler Menu

As you can see, not much to it! Just remember to delete any custom controlmap.txt's from your game folder, then go into the in-game settings and revert controls to default! Because of Wheeler's inherent "Outside/Inside of inventory" controller feature, this means that you won't accidentally open it while you're inside a Quickloot EE menu, or activate the wheel when you're just trying to shop! :D
