¿Ever thought Vanilla frost and fire breath shouts suck? Now you will spit fire and frost just like a true dragon; and with better dragon breath effects.

UPDATE 1.1: Resized the size of the fire and frost streams so they are better position and more appropiate to the size of a humanoid. Now the effects should look better both in first and third person.

THE MOD

¿Remember my mod, Better Dragon Breath?




It made dragons able to generate extensive , harmful surfaces of the element they spit ; and it gave their breaths eplosive effects and made them deal Area of effect damage.

Now, you can do it as well, as the dragonborn. Just like the overview says; it will make you able to use continuous, beam attacks, like those dragons use, and with the perks I gave to the dragons. They belong to you by right, because you are the dragonborn.

Makes your breath shouts actually breathe fire or frost like a dragon (an aimed beam rather than a very weak proyectile) AND makes you deal AOE, explosive damage, and generate walls of fire or frost!

The shouts will also do more damage (about 3x, but overtime, since you must aim the breath after you release the shout) and recover times have been tweaked; it will take more time to cast the one word version, but, they will never take more than 65 seconds (compared to 100 in vanilla).  Some numbers might change depending on feedback.

Because let's face it: theese breaths are the most iconic dragon abilities, their attacks of legend, and it was such a wasted oportunity that they sucked so much in the original game.

EXTRAS & COMPATIBILITY:

  • Highly compatible, very lightweight plugin, with no scripts. It won't work with anything that alters the dragonborn's fire or frost breaths; you must choose.
  • It is an ESL, so it won't count towards your plugin limit.
  • It is coherent and compatible with all of my mods. too. The dragons will hit you harder, but you will be able to hit back shouting. Now we will see whose thu'um is the strongest!
  • Safe to install midgame.


There's a Patch for Stormcrown kindly made by FardeenRiyadh16, and untested by me. You can find it in optionall files. The load order would need to be:

1) Stormcrown
2)Better Dragonborn Breath
3) Better Dragonborn Breath - Stormcrown patch.
 
INSTALLATION: PLUG AND PLAY.

  • Op1: Use mod manager option and install it with your mod manager (vortex or mod organizer, I use mod organizer)
  • Op 2: Paste the content of the 7zip (the plugin) in game's data directory in the game's installation folder.

RECOMMENDED MODS TO USE ALONG WITH THIS;

Of course, all of my mods, with special mention to Better Dragon Breath. All of my other mods will either make the dragons more powerful or more impressive, so they will be up to the challenge.

It is compatible with kittytail's breath VFX, you will use the same exact projectile dragons use.
