About this mod

Uses Base Object Swapper to disable most light sources in Nordic Ruins and Draugr crypt dungeons.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Changelogs
Uses Base Object Swapper to disable torches, fires, sconces, candles, etc inside of Nordic Ruins and Draugr crypts.

Compatible with mod added dungeons (*see note).

Compatible with lighting overhauls (*see note).

## Ambient Light

This mod swaps LIGHT records (e.g. the distinct placed spots of light). Dungeons will no longer have flames and obvious lights. It still might be just bright enough to see where you're going though (like being outside under the moon). If you want your dungeons to be pitch black, then you will also need a darker ambient lighting template.

I've included an optional file Darker Ambient Light - Dungeons and Caves Only that darkens the ambient lighting for dungeons and caves only. It's based on TheMilesO's Ambiance mod and is fine to load after Luminosity or whatever lighting template mod you're using. If you're happy with your ambient light, then this is completely optional.

## Bandits?

I chose to remove lights from nordic ruins EVEN WHEN BANDITS ARE PRESENT. My preferred solution to bandits in draugr dungeons is for them to wear lanterns. To have your draugr-dungeon-dwelling bandits wear lanterns you will need another mod such as:

1. Lights On - Wearable Lanterns for Immersive Equipment Displays
2. Use SPID to add torches to all bandits (see this mod's optional files).
3. Nothing; just let the bandits wander in the dark :)

## Lighting Overhaul Compatibility

NOTE: If your lighting overhaul or dungeon mod adds new types of lights, then those lights will need an additional swap.ini file. It wont cause
any game-breaking issues though. It should be fairly easy to add more lights if users crowdsource them to the mod page.

LUX Patch - see optional files

Known to be compatible:
- ShadowSE (this is what I use for lighting)
- Luminosity Lighting Overhaul (this edits the color of light rather than the placement of LIGHT refs)
- Darkened Dungeons Lighting (I would recommend using Darker Ambient Light - Dungeons and Caves Only instead, found in optional files)
- Ambiance - A Vanilla(plus) Ambient Lighting Overhaul (this edits the ambient light rather than LIGHT records themselves)

## Still not sure?

Just try it out :). You can install and uninstall this mod at any time.
