Dawnstar Fish Market

For a while I had planned to add something to Dawnstar in the docks area, I just wasn't sure what. After a suggestion from Mixaloubos regarding a Dawnstar Fish Market, I knew exactly what I wanted to add! So here it is, a relatively simple little mod, but hopefully one that adds a good bit of immersion as well as a couple interesting Fisher-Husbands.

NOTE: This mod requires the free Fishing CC that came with the Anniversary Edition of Skyrim. This is a hard requirement.

Awaad runs the smaller of the two fish stalls, but specializes in angling for salmon and slaughterfish - which gives him a bit of an extra inventory (slaughterfish eggs and scales). Awaad is married to Fruki and lives in their shared abode. He packs up his stall a little earlier than most merchants (6pm) to give him and his best pal Skardi time to grab dinner before meeting their wives after work.

Skardi Cracked-Oar runs the larger of the fish stalls, and will usually have species of arctic fish available, as well as salmon. Skardi is married to Irgnir and they share a house together. He also closes his stall at 6pm to head out for dinner, then tavern time with the wife.

Both NPCs have high poly heads, per usual with my mods.

The mod is set up to use vanilla meshes and vanilla skyrim texture paths for the npcs which means they should shift appropriately according to any/all body, mesh, or texture replacers you use.

All screenshots were taken running this mod alongside COTN Dawnstar, Expanded Towns and Cities Dawnstar, Cathedral Weathers and Rudy ENB for Cathedral Weathers. The NPC looks in my screenshots are as they will appear in your game - though they will use whatever bodies and textures you have set up.

This mod was created with the 1.640 version of the Creation Kit so is compatible with all SE/AE versions of Skyrim. It is ESP-FE flagged. This mod has no running scripts or quests.

I will NOT remove the Fishing CC requirement for this mod. For anyone who asks, the answer is no. In my opinion the Fishing CC is extremely central to the design of this mod, and any version without it will be significantly lessened. However, per my usual open use authorization, anyone who wants to may create an esp replacer / version of this mod that does not require the Fishing CC.
