This is my Lady Dovah Gianna Heron in her original iteration as a vanilla race.

I originally made Gianna Heron as a vanilla race character but decided to try CotR for a while. I'm probably going to do mostly vanilla presets from now on due to compatibiliy issues i'm having related to CotR. Refer to the CotR version of her for now if you want to read her backstory. I'll provide a link here to that mod.

The look I had for her is in the screenshots along with her custom "Voidbane" arsenal of weapons. The outfit comes from the mod Vivace. Shes a custom follower and thats her outfit but I think it looks good on G. Let me know if your having problems with the ears. The mod lists Goams elven ears as a requirement but you don't need it - I just have it installed for other characters. If it causes any problems let me know. Enjoy!

My Lady Dovah... G,
Her mother was a merchant. A shrewd trader, businesswoman and diplomat. Her mother would often hold court with local leaders of various provinces and discuss ways to increase the flow of wealth in that region if the province was hurting financially. Gianna's mother taught her communication skills, the art of business dealings and how to properly hold court.
Her father was a high ranking officer in the imperial legion. He held a number of successful campaigns during his long career. He successfully fended off a number of attempts of warlord factions to undermine the empire during the great war. He did not lead the defensive against the thalmor but he made sure that many of the outlying territories that were under attack during the great war did not weaken during the Thalmors assault. He retired a short time after the Great War and decided to contribute to the expansion of general trader stores that his wife had founded and developed.
For the first two decades of G's life she learned the arts of speech and combat from her parents. As a young 20 year old she ventured from home looking for adventure and new experience and found her home with the fighters guild of Cyrodiil. She completed contracts initially to help put coin in her pocket but the fighters guild leaders saw her potential as a bookeeper and documents handler and decided to give her more administrative duties. She was paid well and learned much about how to run an organization and about strategic planning and management.
In her early 30's G encountered tradgety as her parents home in Cyrodiil was ransacked and they were both killed. She found out after returning home that this was not a simple bandit raid but a military assault and assassination... executed by a former rival of her fatthers that he had been condending with throughtout his whole career. She had never heard of the man until that day but learned from a note left by him that he had discovered the powers of vampirism in his travels to skyrim and had acquired the power of the Vampire Lord form. Her father, as skilled in combat as he was, was no match for the Vampire Lord. Her mother tried deseperately to fend him off as well but knew she was no match for him. In her final moments she hid something for Gianna to find. It was a locket with a map to a boon with clues about her past.
The story continues as G finds out that much of her ancestry is breton, imperial and nord depending where she goes back in her family tree and she learns that her great grandmother on her mothers side was a powerful mage that was unmatched in all of tamriel. This mysterious woman had a lineage that her mother spent a good portion of her wealth trying to learn about for most of her life. G's life mission was clear from there on: Avenge her parents and kill this unnamed vampire lord from her fathers past and discover the mysterious ancestry of her family that began with her great grandmother.
Theres more to the story but I haven't written it yet. This is just a backstory I gave her to give her character some substance.
If your wondering where her name "Gianna Heron" comes from then I'll explain. The etymology of Gianna comes from Italian and means divine beauty (I think). Its a testament to her physcial beauty and the word Heron refers to a dimorphic bird (yes its a real bird). dimorphism occurs in a species when both sexes of a species display similar outward appearances and characteristics. By contrast, a monomorphic species would be the peacock (females are rather plain while males have crazy feathers and really stand out). The metaphor here refers to how G and her mother viewed men and women.... as equals and partners. She also felt that at their core men and women really wanted the same things which is why she didn't understand the stark contrast between how men and women viewed each other in skyrim.
G ventured to skyrim and discovered how great this division between the sexes was. She discovered men treated women like cattle and they often hated and were at odds with each other. G made it her unofficial mission to use her training in speech to dispel the division that perpetuated in the provinces between men and women. She discovered quickly that this would be a long battle and that she would need help.
