SKSEVR plugin to add full ESL support to Skyrim VR. No more merging mods!

ESLs from AE 1.6.1130 are also supported. This means support for Extended ESLs as well

Additionally, added overlay plugin support from Starfield!

WHAT THIS MOD DOES:

Skyrim SE/AE users enjoy access to ESL files. This is something that pretty much revolutionized modding as we know it when Bethesda added these types of files when they launched Special Edition. ESL files (or ESP/ESM files flagged as ESL) do not increase your plugin count, meaning you can go over the limit of 254 esp files. This is the reason why load orders with thousands of mods are possible.

Until now, Skyrim VR didn't have support for ESL files, as these files would count towards our load order limit. This means we could only install 254 mods or use merges. This changes now thanks to this mod.

INSTALLATION

Install with your mod manager, like any other mod. Load order doesn't matter.

NEW SAVE RECOMMENDED

Given the big change from ESPs-only to now supporting ESLs + ESPs, a new save is highly recommended. Use an old save at your own risk

Also: SKSEVR specific mods will need to use an API to access loaded ESL files (see below). This doesn't apply to most mods, but we recommend not ESLifying mods that come bundled with a DLL (VRIK, HIGGS as an example) to be on the safe side in case they want to lookup their mod to check if they are loaded.

If you are the mod author of a SKSEVR plugin, you can easily add support for your mod to look up ESL files. Read the documentation to find out how (and reach out if you need help.)
