About this mod

As a thank you to the modding community I present to you my final project. Ebony ENB for NAT 3 weathers. Unique custom shaders. Highly detailed, moody and dark with vibrant moments where needed.

Changelogs

This project has started when online friends of the community asked if I could make a preset for NAT 3. I am glad and happy that I did because this project feels like a magnum-opus to me. Months of work getting it to the spot where I want to. So as my final project and as a thank you to the community and a lovely time I had in it, I decided to release it.

Requirement and installation:

  • ENB - You only need the d3d11.dll and the d3d_compiler.dll from the wrapper folder and put it into \steamapps\common\skyrim special edition main directory
  • ENB helper - You need SKSE installed and then you can install ENB helper. This will ensure the multiple weathers and unique edits will work for this ENB
  • Enhanced Volumetric Lighting and Sunshadows - Fairly mandatory to use to get corrected sunshadows, moonshadows and volumetric lighting corrections. Including the night time moon VL
  • Moons and Stars - Sky Overhaul - Strongly recommended if you want to have corrected moonphases. Works really well with EVLAS. My required files has a config for it.
  • NAT.ENB III - ONLY the weather plugin
  • Embers XD - Fairly mandatory to use and a straight forward installation. Be sure to pick the burned orange version, as it works best with my intended design. The other one looks off on my shaders and sometimes waaay to bright or white.
  • Lux - This preset is entirely designed for Lux and the complete lux suite. In the fomod pick "Beams - PARTICLE without effect lighting" and "Mists and Fogs - Effect lighting without PARTICLE".

For alternate lighting mods I recommend;

  • Skyrim is Luminous - Pick the ominous setting in the fomod. Looks the most atmospheric. Recommended to use with interior floating fog remover
  • ELFX - with or without the ELFX Shadows addon and definately pick the enhancer version from the main mod OR the shadows addon

Always check if you have the following set in skyrimprefs.ini

bSAOenable=0
bIBLFenable=0

ENB Installation, load order and required files:

  • Install the required files with your favorite mod manager and load it AFTER NAT3 enb
  • Then download my ENB files and drag and drop the content into \steamapps\common\skyrim special edition

Load order:

  • NAT-ENB.esp
  • Panda's NAT3 Tweaks.esp
  • Embers XD.esp
  • Lux Via.esp
  • Lux Orbis.esp
  • LUX.esp

Parallax support:

It is disabled by default, if you want to use it set the following manually in the enbseries.ini located in your main skyrim directory.

EnableTerrainBlending=true
EnableTerrainParallax=false
EnableComplexParallax=true
EnableComplexParallaxShadows=true
EnableComplexTerrainParallax=true
EnableComplexTerrainParallaxShadows=true

Complex material is also set to false by default. Set it to TRUE manually if you want to use it.

Added note: NIGHT-EYE works out of the box. No need to worry about that!

Plugin addon:

The plugin addon I made is ESL flagged in the old ID-range. This means it is compatible with any skyrim version and doesn't count towards your load limit.

What it does:

  • It reverts a lot of inconsistancies with certain storm weathers and cloudy weathers,
  • Includes the bizarre shadow fix on all the weathers
  • Removes rain and thunder effects from soulcairn and apocrypha
  • Removes the NAT lens effect from the NAT overcast weathers
