Illia has always been my absolute favorite vanilla follower ever since I first played Skyrim LE on the PS3(yikes). Illia really made an impression on me compared to most of the female companions you got in the base game, for me she had the most interesting backstory and a cool quest tied to it. Now that I finally learned how to make an NPC replacer, she was the first one I wanted to overhaul! I hope you like her as much as I do, I leaned more towards a goth appearance and even gave her some details to reflect her lifestyle such as slight dark circles for some extra realism. She comes with her own skin, hair, and eye textures, she also has her own 3BA body!

To add more depth to her I HIGHLY recommend granfdad's wonderful mod, Vanilla Follower Expansion - Illia, it gives my girl the much needed love Bethesda didn't even bother to give her

Compatibility
Compatible with:
She is now compatible with both CBBE and UNP, keep in mind I intended for her to have a CBBE body though. You have the option between clear or frostnip skin.

Not compatible with
Any mods that also edit Illia such as giving her stronger stats or also changing her head sculpt. Either use EasyNPC or Xedit to pick which one you want or forward the other mods record changes. In Xedit, remove her NPC record from the overhaul you want to remove so my sculpt wins.
Also if your experiencing the dark face bug, PLEASE DO NOT USE FACE DISCOLORATION FIX, this mod does not fix the actual problem but only bandages it. You will get her stinky CK sculpt and tintmasks instead of her actual files. PLEASE stop telling new modders this is the fix, while it might be the case for mods where the authors forgot to regenerate a face in the CK, it is NOT a fix for NPC overhauls. This is really poor advice that only slows them down from truly learning how to patch!

FOMOD?
Gods no, creating descriptions is already very time consuming, FOMODs are even worse. I don't find the technical aspects of modding fun(descriptions, adding images, patching for mods I don't even use, etc...) so NO! Just download the one you want/need, do you really want several files sitting in your hard-drive you won't EVER use?

Can you make it standalone without the skin?
No, I want her to look exactly as she does in my game. I've considered not including the skin but then remembered I might get some really nasty comments about her "looking ugly" without BnP so I saved myself the sanity and included them. If someone wants to make her standalone PLEASE PM me so we can make sure you aren't unintentionally redistributing her assets and you will for sure be responsible for any problems that arise from it(I don't want people yelling at me how she doesn't look as nice as the photos and I myself prefer her to be standalone in my own game since I don't use RSV/RBT).
Preset?
Sure. I've included her preset since I know some may just want her looks for their PCs, but PLEASE credit me when you use it in your own screenarchery!
It doesn't feel nice to see someone showered in praises for something I made, especially when they comment "Thanks! I made it myself". If it wasn't for my friend convincing me, I would have kept this preset to myself because of this. So thank him for being able to download it. I'll also take this moment to thank those who do credit me and showcase my presets, I really appreciate it and always enjoy seeing your screenshots!
Here are the requirements:
BnP skin - 2.0 Young Normals with Nord frostnip skin
Facial Hair - Only the brow retextures since she uses vanilla brows. Highly recommend the beard textures packed in as well.

Can you make the face 100% symmetrical? Her eyes are kind of uneven and-
NO. Not only is it a standard mesh issue with HPH(I do have the symmetrical version too), but no one in real life has a perfectly symmetrical face, this is the biggest thing to notice if you're aiming for realism. ABSOLUTELY no one's face is perfectly symmetrical.
Can you make this into a Serana replacer instead?
No. Mines would be redundant when so many other wonderful replacers already exist.

Too many tutorials were recommending SSE Optmizer/Nifmerge which would always break my meshes. If you too want to make replacers or are like me and find most video tutorials too distracting, I highly recommend giving this a read!
