Hi friends! Here is a mod that will patch some missing clutter, dungeon dwemer textures to fit the color palette of the Ancient Dwemer Metal mod. Includes Dawnguard, Dragonborn, SMIM and vanilla.
Thank you Xtudo for the new patches and providing the links to these great mods here. Your work has made my game look amazing for years and now it just got better.
Big kudos to you, my friend, and high praise to SRW0 for the original masterpiece.
I love the colors of this metal, it's better than the golden new alternative, it gives more the idea of the time past and also i never much liked the idea of so much gold left there on the pipes, even if it looks also good, it's not plausible using gold, and that much of it... but anyway it's not only cause consistency I also like the color more! Thanks a lot, it takes a bit of patience getting all the patches for the other mods getting involved (same as the golden alternative anyway) but once done it's looks AMAZING and matches also better with Stony AF version of Markarth and ruins imo, there is some grey in the metal that matches PERFECTLY!
Hi SRW0! I’d like to ask if it’s okay to allow someone else to work with Ancient Dwemer Metal for Xbox/Bethnet, given proper credits and a link back in the description. The person who previously ported it (campolo313) has been out of the scene for years now. There’s a lot of new patches etc. and it would be lovely to get them all in one mod slot (XB users only have 150 mod slots RIP).
I would expect Dwemer to make this kind of music. Probably not "Dwemer Metal" (more like "Dwemer Western"), but it was used by Metallica. :) Edit: And I bet it sounds terrific underground.
What's the diffirence between the two option? Does "automatons" only retexture automatons and "dwemer metal" only enviromental stuff or does it just do the whole thing cause when I download both the files conflict.
Yes, that's how they differ. AFAIK they don't duplicate any files between themselves. How did they conflict? I'm using both in my game, and I don't remember any issues when I installed them.
It probably doesn't matter. On review, I see that they both have the bronze cubemap (bronze_e.dds), so maybe that's what Vortex is picking up on, but AFAIK they're the same so it doesn't matter which one overwrites the other.
Cubemaps govern reflection and there are often cubemaps in texture mods for metallic objects. That is usually not a big deal, especially if they are both from the same artist, so you can use either one as far as I know, but I am open for correction.
Other conflicts should be up to your taste and what other retexture mods you are using. For example, I am using an ingot retexture (HD Reworked Ingots) and so I didn't use the new Dwarven Metal Ingot in this mod. The same way I kept the Dwarven Arrows from Cathedral Armory instead of using the new ones from this mod, so the arrow matches the other weapons from Catherdral Armory.
Hey SRW0, do you still work on this masterpiece from time to time, or are you finished? I see your red sticky post but I am unsure, because I have no idea what's been going on. I hope for a reply.
Anyone know why I can't get these to work properly on SSE using Mod Organizer 2? I've tried downloading through MO2 directly since some people says it worked. I also tried unpacking, running through NIF optimizer, repacking, and installing that zip on MO2. Neither of these steps worked. I used this mod in LE and I really enjoyed it, I hope I can use it in SSE as well.

For Skyrim LE, and for SE.
And for the Dwemer Armor and weapons (Works for both LE and SE).
I hope this helps. Have fun!

Check some comparison screens:
both mods are wrong but both are great anyway!
Thank you!
