Are you still chopping your firewood ? ... or do you collect it already?
This small Skyrim Plugin gives you the ability to collect firewood instead of chopping it.
Use your power if you see any wood lying around. As soon as you have collected some wood, the spot will be unavailable until you have collected wood from four other spots. And the spot will also be hid for 30 seconds.

Dies ist ein kleines Skyrim PlugIn, dass dir erlaubt, Feuerholz zu sammeln.
Benutze die Kraft in unmittelbarer Nähe von herumliegendem Holz. Danach ist der Spot für 30 Sekunden unsichtbar sowie gesperrt, bis du von 4 anderen spot gesammelt hast.

copy the xgfCollectWood.esp and the xgfCollectWood.bsa and acitavate the esp
UnInstallation

wait at least 30 seconds in game, that all spot are enabled again.
Save the game and remove te esp and the bsa file.
