Once you have received this note from Caistor through a Courier, your investigations on Caistorshold Isle can start. You will be pulled into Caistor's attempts to help the dragon Valminoor, who is stuck on the isle. You will meet Berla - the Caistorshold housekeeper - and Lhu'na the cat. And you will have a new location to explore...

Character Requirements
The "Dragon Rising" quest from Skyrim's main quest line must be completed before this mod's quest will start. There are no requirements on the character level, as most combats can be avoided, and there are not many of them anyways.
Dragon Ride Control
Once you have completed the quest, the dragon Valminoor will become available to you as a follower, with full ride control. Please see IDRC for a detailed description on how the dragon ride control works, and how to enable Controller support for the ride controls.
Note that starting with Caistorshold Isle v2.0.0, you will need to add IDRC (v3.0.0 or higher) to your load order to enable Valminoor's ride controls. Valminoor will automatically benefit from any future updates delivered on the IDRC dragon riding. Just update to the latest IDRC version in your load order.
You can use Caistorshold Isle and Philmorex in the same playthrough. So you can always have one of the dragons following you, while you are riding the other. I am actually considering to make Val and Phil interact with each other in a future release.
Replacing Valminoor's Skin
You can replace Valminoor's skin by manually dropping the .NIF file of your choice into the /meshes/actor/_ts_CH_Valminoor folder. Make sure to rename the NIF to _ts_CH_Valminoor! In case the NIF comes with specific (non-vanilla) textures, those will also need to be placed into the corresponding /textures folder.
Installation
Add the package to your game via a mod manager (recommended), or manually place the files from the package into the Data folder of your Skyrim installation.
Requirements
Required: Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLCs (Dawnguard needs to be above Dragonborn in your load order!)

Release status
The mod is in a stable beta state. This means it should be fully functional with no serious issues. However, no promises of course that you will not still be finding bugs. Please report, and I'll try to fix them.

Known Issues
Sometimes when you first enter the library, the books are filled into the bookshelves in an "untidy" way. If this is the case for you, load the auto-save from when you were first entering the library. This will re-fill the bookshelves - hopefully nicely this time. Note that this only works if you are entering the libary for the first time. Later you will need to activate the individual shelves. When you exit the activation of a shelf, that shelf gets refilled nicely.
Sometimes one of the mannequins from the Sarius' Estate training room may show up in the dining room above. Activate the empty base-plate of the mannequin in the training room to get the mannequin back to where it belongs.
