Q: I can't recruit Mare A: Install the requeriments for this mod to work. For Mare to work as a follower you must install RDO, its needed just for ability to take her as a companion, because she uses Elf Haughty voice which has not support for followers.
Q: Lydia/Mare has black/brown face, the esp is the last on my load order,I don't know what in hell is happening!! she is sick or something? A: maybe the 4k version its to much for your end, download the 1k version or use CAO for batch resize the textures to your liking.
Hi! Thanks for the mod! Please tell me. In my game, when it's sunny outside, her eyes turn purple, is it possible to fix it somehow? Maybe I need to delete or change some file?
I have tried her (as a follower ) without RDO ( just with the make follower option of AFT ) . That works , she is not mute ; the only missing dialogue option is " wait here " so normally she follows all the time . But i can make her posing , or use " dismiss but hang out here " and " follow me " after . She is beautiful and a good warrior . Thank you , i add screenshots .
Oh no my in game skin and body UwU its vewy old think it's demoniac(cbbe) v.v cross fingers. (idk might just edit her mesh and texture paths if I'm not lazy so she will look unique hehe)
The biggest problem with this mod is not standalone. A follower mod why using my NPC's body mesh and body textures? Awesome pictures in the mod description but in my game she looks like ugly because i use different body textures.

The standalone followers, because each one has its own body (meshes and textures), overload Skyrim LE, as it is a 32-bit game and has a memory usage limit.
The non-standalone followers will use the body (meshes and textures) that we choose to use in our game, so they take up much less memory.
Recently, I had to remove a few dozen followers from my game (I use a savegame with several years and thousands of hours of gameplay), because I was having CTD too often, especially when entering game cells (generally inns) with many standalone followers inside.
An excellent example of this is Riverwood and the Sleeping Giant Inn. Many modders place their followers in these cells, with the hope that when a player starts a new game, he/she will find his/her followers first, before any other. The same goes for the Bannered Mare Inn. The consequence is that these locations are usually the first to cause CTD due to excessive memory usage in Skyrim.
After removing the standalone followers and almost all others followers that didn't use just vanilla assets from the game, I no longer have CTDs.
I'm not saying that a standalone follower, with a different body than the one we usually use in our game, it's not interesting. In fact, usually it is, because it brings variety to the game itself, but wanting all followers to be standalone it's a way for us to start having CTDs in the game, besides being ridiculous when a person choose the follower with the same type of body that already uses in his/her game.

The non-standalone is a very good thing , in my opinion . The mod is very light , and very often i replace the meshes - and , or - textures of followers because i don't like most of actual bodies ... that's much more simple like that . But in this case , too bad , i don't use RDO . Is it possible to make her a follower with AFT ?
I'm playing Skyrim LE in VR (in a sitting position, with mouse and keyboard), with Vorpx software. The problem is that Vorpx and ENB are incompatible! Yes, I know Bethesda released Skyrim VR, which is a 64bit game, but I prefer to keep playing Skyrim LE in VR with Vorpx, because there are things in Skyrim VR that I don't like.
But even using ENB (and I already tried it out of VR), which alleviates some of the 32-bit memory usage, Skyrim LE remains a 32-bit game and there are always some textures and meshes information that are stored in 32-bit memory, so if you overload the game too much with 4K textures, you'll get CTD.
Unfortunately, nowadays, many of the new followers use very detailed 4k textures and meshes, especially in the head and hair. And when those textures and heavy meshes extend beyond the body, head and hair, to the armors/clothes, you're more likely to start having CTD, which happened to me when I had several followers of these (especially one of them!) inside the Sleeping Giant Inn.
I understand that many of the mobbers want to show how they can make such beautiful followers, and so they use very heavy assets, but I get the feeling that many of them, unlike many older modders, don't play Skyrim LE seriously, and don't realize how much a follower can become very memory consuming in Skyrim LE. It's just my impression, not an absolute certainty, so, please!, no one gets upset wih this!
And no, it's not a lack of VRAM issue on my graphics card (believe me, it has more than enough). By the way, I forgot to mention, but I'm currently playing this game at 4260 x 2400 resolution, which contributes to stressing the use of available memory. Also, my current computer setup means that 32-bit applications only have about 2900 Mbs of available memory, instead of the "normal" almost 3200Mb.
Dont know if AFT have the Follower "IA package" for Elf Haughty voice. And if it does maybe she is mute. RDO its great you should try it. Personaly I use IAFT +RDO+ RDOIAFT patch. If you are lacking of plugin slots you can merge some armors or followers with zEdit/Merge, here a tutorial from GamerPoets.
A follower mod which need RDO and its not standalone. :D I think this is only a half work.

Stop saying this shitty nonsense. You can use ENB, SKSE or Crash Fixes, whatever, but Skyrim Legendary NEVER uses 24 GB VRAM, it's technically impossible... you can have your cute NASA PC, but Skyrim LE is still a 32-bit application. Period. Now, go away and stfu
There are two types of followers : standalone and preset. The good thing about standalones is they will look exactly as the author wants. The good thing about presets is you will be able to utilize your own gorgeous textures. Problem? I see only win.

A: install the optional requirements for HP head and the problem will disappear.(Expressive Facegen Morphs and Expressive Facial Animation Female Edition)

High Poly Heads is often overrated but this is just insane work.
