As none of the other mods seem to work for me, thank you oh so very much for making this. Works flawlessly even with the Darnified UI. Good words all around.
i kept avoiding this to avoid using obse. though as you said, every other mod seemed to have its flaws which would prevent me being able to do what i was wanting to do.
even manual efforts which were painstaking and annoying ended up not allowing me to so much as reuse a spell name.
finally i try this mod out, wonderfully finding out i only need to use this mod or obse on occasions that i do wish to delete spells. however, after finding out how wonderfully you have executed this it has warmed me up to the idea of using obse all the time.
i can't extend enough thanks for your time in making this.
lonewolf_kai: Hm... perhaps you deleted a spell with that name with another spell deletion mod? If so then that can't be fixed, at least not yet - at the moment once a name is used by a spell, the only way to fix it is by renaming that spell, which becomes impossible if there are no longer any references to the spell. If that is the case, the only way to make a new spell with the same name at this time is to create a spell with a different name, then rename it (using Kyoma's Spell Renamer or another renaming mod).

okay, need a little help here. It doesn't seem to be working for me. i still get the message saying that the name of the spell i just deleted and tried to use again has been used already.

Useful as a device for clearing clutter, or removing that stat boosting spell.
