  • What is this Mod?
This is an New Vegas Reloaded mod made for Tales of Two Wasteland users. Configured with Cartographer.

  • What is the purpose  of this preset?
My purpose for creating this preset was a very bright and photo realistic appearance for TTW while not completely removing the themes and atmosphere of every location.

  • What inspired this mod?
Other NVR - TTW presets such as Caffeine NVR, Uranium Haze and H2O. You should definitely check them out too. They are amazing.

  • Why did you make this preset?
Even though I enjoyed many other preset they were mostly over stylized or themed for my taste. I usually found myself constantly adjusting them. So I decided to make my own from scratch completely. Since I'm happy and satisfied with the results I just wanted to share it with everyone.

  • How does this mod work?
This mod uses Cartographer to change the NVR preset every time when player changes cell(location). That functionality allows us to appoint different presets for each location. That way we can configure many different locations appearance individually, which is a very handy thing for TTW because it has many diverse locations. Single preset is usually not enough in that scenario.

  • Highly Recommended Mods:

Real Time Reflections : There is and configuration file included with this mod. If you don't like and want to use your own config you can edit or remove it.
Lumen : Amazing mod that completes NVR perfectly.
Afterglow : Makes strip lighting amazing. Essential for NVR users.
Window Ambient Light at Night: Essential for NVR users.
Sandstone Desert : In the images I'm using mix of Sandstone desert and Legacy Reborn pack.
Legacy Reborn: You can mix it with sandstone desert.
Wasteland Flora and Terrain Overhaul: I'm using in the images. Best looking flora mod of all time.
Atmospheric Lighting Tweaks: Nice for beautiful interior lighting and atmosphere. I'm also using this in the images.

  • Other Recommendations?

  • Please use the guides such as Viva New Vegas, The Best of Both Times, FNV Performance Guide and Wastleand Survival Guide.
  • Regenerate you LOD. It DOES matter a lot. Check out SALVO guide for improving your textures. I don't use it because I made my own texture pack but If you are not experienced for modding and  don't know much about packing  or optimizing your textures it is the best guide out there for it.
  • If the main version is too bright for you can just simple try lowering you in game display brightness 1 or 2 level before switching to SMR edition. If you think main version is too bright and SMR version is too dark that might help.

What does Spare My Retina Edition do?

It has slightly lower overall brightness, contrast, exposure and specular reflectivity. Colors also slightly adjusted and now appears less bleached (White toned). The main appearance still there though you should definitely try both version and then decide!
