Version 6.8
- Set main worldspace water records for DN Weathers NV to Potomac instead of NVCleanWater (as used by TTW and still in DNW TTW) due to reports of visual weirdness and to maintain consistency with YUP NV/Vanilla.
- The Saturation Boost and Distant Blur features have been reworked to only run once on startup if used and should no longer hit performance. Previously they were set to run in game mode and constantly apply an IMOD. Now they make one time edits to already existing IMODS / ImageSpaces.
- Added check to the Snow Script to make sure it doesn't snow when in an interior.
- Slightly reduced sunglare intensity, but not as much as in the optional file "Reduce Sunglare Size".
- Changed Sierra Madre Grand Entrance patch to an ESP by Kiwi due to issues with the scriptrunner.

- Dead money weathers in the main worldspaces have been made more consistent in style but with more cloud variation
- Carried over the toxic cloud script from This Corrosion - Sierra Mojave Redux which has improvements and doesn't force the Toxic Cloud Weather which messes up lighting temporarily when in the cloud
- Improved RadiatedWeather5 cloud choices and NVWastelandClearWindy cloud choices and lighting (this weather only plays when you leave Doc Mitchell's on a new game)
- Reduced chances a bit for some of the overcast weathers in the Mojave
- Adjusted nightvision IMODs to not have strong bloom (not sure why I had them like this) and changed the Cat-Eye IMOD to have a blue tint similar to Vanilla instead of yellow
- Edited the Hidden Valley sandstorm scripts (final time hopefully) to not force any weathers at all so weather isn't abruptly changed or glitchy - it seems to be that HVDustStorm weather being forced during the sandstorms is completely pointless

- Edited the BOS bunker HVSandstormWeather to have the same lighting/style as other weathers so the transition in and out of the storm is seamless.
- Attempted fix for a reported issue regarding broken lighting near the BOS bunker. This could possibly be due to how I had the sandstorm scripts edited.
- Carried over changes from the DNW Strip Lights Region Fix patch under Vish's Patch Hub: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/77945. The region record used by Strip Lights Region Fix (Region 218) is unused in the Vanilla game so this will not have any negative effect if you don't use Strip Lights Region Fix. That patch is no longer needed.

- Actually fixed snow script this time and marked it as a quest script as I had it as an object script for some reason (sorry for back to back updates)
- Redid an ugly weather (the one with the stringy furry type pano clouds and drab sky coloring (FalloutWeather4/TTWFalloutWeather4) to be cloudless except for small horizon clouds. Uses a texture with a subtle radial gradient in the pano layer to reduce banding a bit (idea by EliteBane/Texan).

- Fixed some oversights that should have been included in 6.3.
- Added the NVDLC02RainQuest as an intentional ITM to both versions to ensure rain is able to function properly as some mods like TTW disable it.
- Fixed rain weathers not being set properly for Honest Hearts in the climate script and in region records which caused them to not show up most of the time.
- Reverted the water records set for the Honest Hearts worldspace to the default water HH records used in Vanilla. Previously I had set them to use NVCleanWater but I have realized that doing this causes odd LOD especially when not generating your own LOD.
- Added a check in the climate script to set weathers accordingly for The Fort (Caesar's tent) if the optional DNWNoRegionalWeather.esp is detected, and fixed the scripting for the weathers set previously for it.
- Bumped up night brightness a bit in the config file - if you want night brightness a little darker set the values under [Night] to the values I left in under default values.
- Adjusted the imagespace for The Strip to be more consistent with the rest of the Mojave.
- Did conflict with resolution with YUP for the NV version, and the latest TTW ESPs for the TTW version.

- Reduced saturation for sunrises and sunsets in the Mojave to make them look more natural and fit with the daytime coloring better (reduces sky banding as well).
- Fixed cloudy weathers for TTW being overly bright (unintentionally introduced in version 6.2). The NV and TTW cloudy weathers shared an ImageSpace adapter but tweaking it didn't work out well on the TTW side. I made a unique one now for the TTW weathers more similar to old one before 6.2 and it looks better.
- Fixed some issues with layout in the config files that would have caused some features and weathers to not toggle properly and improved their readability.

- Included Anro's fixes for interior skies from Nevada skies for the Lonesome Road Collapsed Tunnel and Higg's Village in OWB.

- Improved the shuffle weathers script so it will shuffle through all available weathers (thank you Sweet6Shooter for the script). Previously it just called rcc/refreshcurrentclimate which only seems to shuffle between 5 or so weathers.
- Reduced the amount of days after starting a new game until cloudy/rainy weathers will show from 5 days to 3 days.
- Removed edits to rain activator records for better compatibility with rain mods like 3D Rain.
- HOTFIX: Fixed an oversight in the TTW version with rain Activators.

- Improved the look of a majority of the basic weathers and for some DLC weathers that needed it - some only small changes, others adjusted more when needed.
- Improved fog brightness/coloring on weathers that needed it, and normalized fog coloring values for night.
- Changed the clouds on a few weathers that had questionable cloud textures (weird alpha or flatness).
- Redid the legion/cottonwood cove weathers to not be a weird constant pinkish red color. I gave them more of a light blue purple color (similar to colors seen in some vanilla weathers) so they will still look unique but not as harsh.
- Adjusted the size of the moon textures to 1k since having them at 2k is unecessary and because Wall bullied me about it twice.
- Adjusted some imagespaces and IMODs when needed to fix lighting issues/inconsistencies.
- Increased visibility of cloudy weathers and weathers during sunset that were overly dark.
- Reduced the intensity of the sky at night a bit.
- Removed edits to the interior rain sound for Honest Hearts because it was overly loud.
- TTW: adjusted the ambient coloring for daytime and adjusted night brightness.

- As per WallSoGB's suggestion: heavy overcast / rain weathers won't appear on a new game for 4-5 days so when you exit Doc Mitchell's House or Vault 101 you aren't hit with immediate rain or darkness
- Fixed the vanilla ambient music for Honest Hearts (as seen in Altitude and Essential DLC Enhancements Merged) - I had integrated this in version 5.8, but I had missed it in one region
- Moved most of the unimportant optional files to a single file named Optional Files FOMOD Installer

- This version should hopefully resolve some lighting and performance issues people have been reporting.
- If any of the following changes are unappealing to you, and you have not noticed issues with version 5.8.5, then there is no need to update. I will be leaving it available under old versions.
- Worldspace edits to set the climate and imagespaces have been switched to hard edits instead of scripted in order to possibly fix issues with lighting breaking in certain conditions for some users. [Thank you Anro for the advice]
- For disabling/enabling weathers in the ini, the script no longer reads all the ini values every time a cell is entered. It only checks them on game load or loading a save, as reading from the ini is performance intensive. This should improve loading screen times, but if you disable a weather in game it won't be removed until a save is loaded. [Thank you Anro for the advice]
- Includes the changes from the former optional file that reduced the amount of edits to light sources, color changes for lights are still present. Their radii are same as Vanilla, as increasing it hits performance in certain areas.
- Removed the option in the ini that allows DN to take over the climates of mod added worldspaces.
- Removed the option to disable regioinal weathers in Legion territories.
- Fixed rainy weathers showing up in Caesar's tent.

Version 5.8.5
- Merged the main file and the update file to make things easier for future users. If you are already on 5.8.5 there is no need to update.
- Removed the SetWeatherTransitionTimeOverride line in the main script to potentially fix some visual issues in certain regions and DLCs. The transition times for main weathers should still be rather gradual.
- Fixed the NV version having an unnecessary override flag for weather in the Colorado River region.
- Set NV version WastelandNV worldspace to use NVCleanWater instead of Potomac, a fix present in TTW and the TTW version. Should fix some visual issues with the water in some areas.
- Fixed a small oversight with the IMODs in the TTW version for a couple Dead Money weathers.
- Set Honest Hearts to use NVCleanWater to reduce the effect of water glowing at night in Honest Hearts.
- Note: If you are still using the old version of Climate Control, replace it with Climate Control NVSE. It also has an optional file for longer weather transitions which should now be properly compatible.

- Made Honest Hearts not have as much contrast, reduced saturation in HH slightly, and changed up the HH sky colors to not be so washed out.
- Made OWB a little less dim overall. Adjusted ambient coloring for the OWB weather and the imagespace used there.
- Made cloudy weathers not have as dim of ambient coloring values.
- Normalized loudness for thunder sounds.
- Made sunset horizon color a bit less intense of an orange, and made the upper and lower sky look a bit more natural.
- Attempt to reduce frequency of thunder sounds in cloudy weathers.
- Increased the scale of the atmosphere mesh a bit to potentially help a little with z-fighting with it clipping into mountains (vanilla issue).
- Adjusted nighttime IMODs a bit.
- Integrated the Zion Vanilla Ambient Music file from Altitude.
- Reluctantly zipped it up with 7zip (locked, IV'd, cracked) to reduce download size compared to the superior application known as WinRar (egged, keyed, ID'd). 7zip takes forever btw, download WinRar right now. Buy a license for it while you're at it as well.

- Removed Freesidelight under Lights and adjusted daytime imagespace adaptors to potentially fix the lighting issues some were having on buildings in Freeside. I wasn't able to reproduce it after these changes.
- Fixed the cell that was supposed to solve conflict with strip lights region fix. I had it as region 219, not 218 which it should be. I had previously had it 218 but switched it to 219 cause I thought it was wrong. There should be no compatibility issues with Strip Lights Region fix once again.

- This update only affects the TTW version. Added a check to make sure Point Lookout doesn't have an imagespace set when bModWorldspaces=1.
- Added checks for when bModWorldspaces=1 for the TTW version for Alton, Washington's Malevolence, and AWOP FO3 to set the climate to the TTW climate. In version 5.4 it normally only had the Mojave Climate set for mod added worldspaces when this is enabled. If anyone knows of more mods for TTW that add worldspaces let me know.

- This update should address issues where the climate/weather was broken in mod added worldspaces. There is also a new option in the INI file to make DNW's climate play in these worldspaces. - The Strip now uses the default climate, and has multiple weathers like the rest of the wasteland. The Tops lights will no longer go dim on weather transition when multiple weathers are enabled in the climate (an issue this had before, which I "solved" by only having one Strip weather). Currently semi incompatible with the Tops Prerelease Restored mod, until I can contact the author for a patch.
- Moved the saturation boost section to the OnCellEnter script.
- Slightly reduced the overall weather transition speed from 40 to 35 as I felt it was kind of long.
- FalloutWeather3 now has the sky and cloud style that the Strip weather had in previous versions, as I felt FalloutWeather3 was ugly, and didn't want to lose out on the style of the former Strip weather.
- Removed lines in the INI files relating to Strip IMODs, as the weathers use the same IMODs as the rest of the wasteland. I have offset this a bit by adjusting the Strip's imagespace, and adding an additive IMOD at night on the Strip that boosts the overall sunlight, brightness, and saturation so the lights will pop.
- Added the nightvision / friend of the night / ghost sight IMODs from RWL to improve the look when using nightvision chems, perks, armor etc. Thanks to Matt on xNVSE for the suggestion.
- Re-enabled the Invisible Cloud Fix by default, and added a check to see if the user has "Climate Control" installed by doodlez, and if so to force it off. Climate Control has its own Invisible Cloud fix by default, so this will prevent them from stacking.

RESHADE INFORMATION
- Download the latest version of Reshade and the Desert Natural Reshade Preset. Extract the preset to a safe location on your PC.
- Run the Reshade installer and select FalloutNV.exe. Select Microsoft DirectX 9 for the rendering API.
- Direct the installer to the Desert-Natural-Reshade.ini - it will automatically select the shader packages needed.
- If you want to add more shader packages press skip, but make sure you have these required packages: Standard effects, SweetFX by CeeJay, qUINT by Marty McFly, Color effects by prod 80, AstrayFX by BlueSkyDefender, Legacy effects
- While in game, press 'Home' on your keyboard to open the Reshade menu. In the menu, you can select a preset under the Home tab.
- Under the Settings tab select Load only enabled effects. Under the Home tab select Performance Mode. Turn these off if editing.
OTHER RESHADE PRESETS
- Tobiah - great preset for color correction and enhancement of the overall look, with nice bloom and contrast
- Vibrance - another solid preset that aims to make the game more colorful and vibrant without overbearing effects
- Goonz - adds some nice effects to DN Weathers without stepping on the original vision of the mod
- Contemplate - aims to present a dark and gritty cinematic theme for the post-apocalyptic world of New Vegas
