About this mod

Balancing out the options 2-handled weapon users can take throughout the game by adding visually appealing weapons that fit niches in the gameplay, open up better potential gameplay options, and/or just have a bit of fun and whimsy to them in the form of a gimmick.

Fun and Usable!

FANS OF WAR
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You ever notice the distinct scarcity in terms of variety of weaponry that rotates as you fire? We have the Minigun, the Unique Minigun, The Shoulder Mounted Minigun, and... thats about it. This issue extends as far as even being prevalent in the modding scene, there ARE  mods about miniguns, and there are ones that add them (such as Stumpy, Big Spender, Mr. Gatling, Micalov's much used Debulked Miniguns, and I believe even Mctammer has a few fun ones in his pack) but even such it is a pile procured throughout the years, we rarely get a massive dump of big guns.

Well now I'mma take a massive dump, of big guns.

Back in 2016, user elfgodsanta released this little doozy of a mod "Junk Weapons" to which I fell instantly in love with the minigun fan shtick, made me smile every time. Though I, at that time I didnt know how to do anything, I envision putting a cooler fan on it and fixing the clipping on the ammo box, especially after the animation set that came out for miniguns. Years later, I figured out how to change the fan, fix the box... and then... I think I got possessed? I don't know, it was supposed to be just a quick touch up and it turned into a full fledged 8 weapon set.
Starting out with the first iteration.

----------
The Fanigun - This is essentially untouched from what elfgodsanta had made originally, aside from the ammo box placement fix, and adding a lil rod for the fan to rotate on. Uses BBs, has....ehhhh durability, and at its strongest its about the damage of an almost totally broke (~25cnd) minigun, so as early as you can get it, it will hold you for a bit, but I wouldn't take it bear hunting.

Locations (this one is meant for you to know as an option)
F3: Roach King Encounter (hey now he has like, a reason to exist, aside from funney, and no fucking minigun outside of minefield wtf)
N.V: Devil's Gullet (it is kind of poetic how it mirrors the location of the unique end game minigun, Devil's Throat, Devil's Gullet.)
----------

----------
Fan Of War - The first creation, it has a fan from ThePitt dlc, which is left over in NV's files, as well as a minigun motor instead of a car engine, no bucket barrel shroud, and it has a nifty effect, +10 DT/DR while held, I like to imagine that spinning big ass fan blades, has to help stop bullets in some way. It's stronger than the first variant, and still uses bbs!

Location

F3:
 Takoma Motor Service and Repair
N.V: Scavenger Platform
----------

----------
Shear Wind - It's a joke weapon, a gimmick, a goof, a gaff, its absolutely necessary in a mod about fan weaponry. It is not very strong, it does not use ammo (Microfusion breeder), it shoots wind, wind that has a high chance to knock enemies down. You can kill a deathclaw with it, in time.
Location

F3:Bethesda Underworks (in a closet) (lol fan of bethesda much?)
N.V: Brooks Tumbleweed Ranch (wind brahmin guy, wind gun, fans, wind, get it?)
---------

---------
Whirlybird - This one just made sense, the design being made from the vertibird, is just fun, and the fact you get an end game version of the lol spin shenanigans is nice, still balanced with the fact it is .308 and it brrts ammo out like a chili fart. You still get the DT/DR Boost as well!

Locations!

F3: Fort Independence Basement Armory thing
N.V: Nellis Munitions Hall
--------
--------
The Red Bonkin - This didn't need to happen but, I didn't wanna make a stronger clone of Shear Wind, I wanted to try to see if I could make a faux melee weapon, it shoots out an array of invisible very short range laser beams, very fast, very wildly, and is meant to mimick the effect of shoving something into a propeller made of hammers. Inf ammo, uses MFB, and you still get the DT/DR Boost.
Jocations

F3: Mason Dixon Salvage
N.V:Samson Rock Crushing (keep your eyes up)

--------
Dishchargers
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You didn't think it was just bbs and wind huh? Nah we got sci-fi here too, so this whole next trio of weaponry is based on some science I read about on internet.com, so imagine if you will that when you spin a fan (or dish), it gathers static electricity, that static electricity, has static cling, so as it spins, it gathers a charge, and pulls in, just whatever is floating around, dust, that dust, collects in the fan, and condenses as it becomes charged with static electricity, suddenly it all at once dis(h)charges into a plasma. That is the entire basis of these weapons. The model though is a street sweeper gutted creatively, a vacuum cleaner, a cooking pot, a ripper, and some light bulbs (we will get to that).  This set was made to essentially do the same as the fan guns, but for the laser side of things. These weapons are all microfusion breeder as well, just to help round out that whole recharging they added in the game, they all also stack with plasma perks (via script).

Oh, by the way it IS plasma, I don't understand the science exactly, but dusty plasma is a whole as thing in space and stuff, and its like
"static held together by electrostatic coupling"
-science.com
but hey! makes the weapon work better if you have mods that add plasma perks.
(use these they are so nice Plasma Commander, Perkaholic, and PerkPackPlus, these all compliment plasma very nicely)

----------
The Dishcharger - this is the first one, I guess, though they all have their benefits and downsides, this one is craftable! So you gotta find the schematic, this one has the middlest health, the lowest dps, and the slowest recharge. Very duck and cover gameplay on this one, works well with burst.

Locations (this one is meant for you to know as an option 2)
F3: Exploding scientist truck (finally a reason to seek the encounter hopefully, I think its funny watching him explode.)
N.V: Allied Technologies Office (cliche energy weapon placement type beat)
----------

----------
The Datcharger - This was made after the dishy boy, but meant to be a sort of what-if, what-if a waster found the schematics, thought they understood the science (they didn't) and then tried to make it work better (kind of did), though all they did was overcharge it and make it shoot faster, recharge quicker, and break much easier, but hey since it sets people on fire, I added it to the pyromaniac perk list, just as a fun bonus, cause it can be interchangeable for the best variant if you do so.

Locations

F3: F.Scott Key Trail (in a trailer)
N.V: Lakelurk Cove (look it up on the wikia, I had to, too)
----------

----------
The Triboelectric Dishcharger (Or T.E.-D.C. pronounced as Tedy C.) - So Triboelectric means static electric by the way, it is just the best variant of the trio, also was meant to be the prototype energy weapon type beat we all have seen before, hence why it looks so manufactured. This one has an EMP effect to nail bots and P'armored folks, which is the only weak point that the DishChargers have.

Locales.

F3: Old Olney Sewer
N.V: Jacobstown Lodge
