Description

I'm not sure why a mod like this hasn't been made yet, but here it is - Intelligence implant is now retroactive. Once you buy the Intelligence implant from Dr. Usanagi, all the skill points that you would have received if you purchased the implant on level 1 will be refunded. You can then spend them however you want.

This means that you no longer have to make the 'immersion' breaking run from Goodsprings straight to the New Vegas medical clinic to get that final 10th Intelligence point. Power gamers can finally rejoice (hooray!).

More details

Things like Intense Training, Lonesome Road reward, and Educated are taken into account. However, as a result, a new game is absolutely required, otherwise it'd be pretty much impossible to track down the exact levels on which those perks were acquired.

For all the tinfoil hat wearers like myself that feel somewhat sceptical about the maths used in this mod, a skill point calculator (an excel spreadsheet) is provided as an optional download. The spreadsheet is quite flexible and allows you to configure things like: Intense Training levels, Educated level, when the implant is bought, etc.

Level 30 and 50 versions are available as well. (dark theme not included)

Installation

The following mods are required:

As I said before, starting a new game is a must (or at least being level 1), otherwise you should use something like Complete Respec instead.

Since the mod is ESPless, load order doesn't matter. After you get the implant, all scripts will be stopped.

Compatibility

Resetting your character to level 1 via the aforementioned Complete Respec mod might cause some problems. Theoretically it should be fine, but as I haven't properly tested it, I advise you not to respec before buying the implant (just to be safe).

Editing Intelligence through console commands is obviously not recommended. I mean, if you edit your stats with the console, you don't really need this mod anyway.
