== Overview ==

This mod adds a simple quest that allows you to convince Motor-Runner to lead the Fiends out of the Mojave and leave Vegas alone. If you have completed Honest Hearts, you can recommend that he take the Fiends to Zion (this might not be the best option depending on how you completed the DLC). Otherwise, they will simply leave the Mojave and disappear from the game.

The mod also includes custom end slides, which are influenced by factors like where they traveled to, how strong they were when they left (i.e., if Violet, Driver Nephi, and Cook-Cook were killed), and whether you convinced the Followers to help the Fiends.

Although the quest for getting them to leave is rather simple, here is a detailed walkthrough below for those that want it:

1. In order to start the quest, you will first need to get inside Vault 3 without the Fiends attacking you, either by wearing a Great Khan outfit or passing a speech check, the same as in the vanilla game.
2. Once you find Motor-Runner, there will be a new dialogue option where you can talk to him about taking the Fiends out of Vegas.
  2a. If Violet, Driver Nephi, and Cook-Cook are dead, no speech check is required.
  2b. Otherwise, you will need to pass a speech check before he will even entertain the idea of leaving.
3. Once Motor-Runner is convinced the Fiends should maybe leave the Mojave, there are two options for where they will go:
  3a. If you have completed the Honest Hearts DLC with any ending other than Chaos in Zion, you can tell the Fiends to go to Zion.
  3b. Otherwise, you will need to pass another speech check, telling him just to head north.
4. The quest, Fiend Withdrawal, will then start with the first objective being to collect 20 Fixer for Motor-Runner.
  4a. If you pass a medicine skill check, you only need to collect 10 Fixer.
  4b. You can also ask Julia Farkas from the Followers to provide medical care to the Fiends. This will require that you are either idolized by the Followers or have a high enough speech skill.
5. Once Motor-Runner has enough Fixer or the Followers are going to help, he will ask that you kill Major Dhatri to stop bounty hunters from chasing the Fiends.
  5a. You can either just simply kill Dhatri.
  5b. Or bring Motor-Runner an NCR Beret and lie.
6. Motor-Runner will then leave the Mojave, and the Fiends will disappear from Vegas.
  6a. If you have not yet completed "Three Card Bounty," then the quest will fail.
  6b. If you did not kill Driver Nephi but left Dhatri alive, he will still send First Recon to Camp Forlorn Hope.
6c. If you sent them Zion, you can visit and see how it went.



== Compatibility ==
This mod is compatible with FPGE, The Living Desert, and the Fiend background in Alternate Start with Delayed Main Quest. Should also be compatible with mods that change the gear the Fiends use.

If you are using Claim the Mojave and send the Fiends to Zion, the mods won't overlap in the same locations.

Should be compatible with TTW.

I also made a similar mod for the Brotherhood, if you want to send another faction out of the Mojave.
