- Disable the mod. Load your save, then save your game and exit. After that enable mod, and start game again. Enjoy. 


Description:
A plugin that adds three NPC vendors, and other features within the Novac Dino-lite Dee Motel's parking lot.
Also adds additional idle markers around the motel. All of it is completely Navmeshed, no colliding NPCs!

The purpose behind this mod was to fill the space in the Novac Dino-lite Dee Motel's parking lot.
It always bothered me that there was crop farmers and a brahmin ranch in Novac, but no one is ever selling anything to you.
The caravans, the doc, the dino store just wasn't cutting it for me, I wanted the settlers of Novac involved in commerce.

NPC Vendor Features:
  • Jud, a rancher who butchers his Brahmin and Bighorners. 
  • Camila, a crop farmer who sells the freshest produce in all of Novac.
  • Brock, a potato farmer who distills his own brews of moonshine, as well as a scavenger for Pre-war alcoholic beverages.
Other NPC Features:
  • Market Security Guard, an armed to the teeth mercenary who doesn't fool around to thievery, will shoot you dead or will die trying.
  • Flynn, where there's trade, there's always someone nearby who's less fortunate. He spends his days mostly just reading his books.
Installation: 
There are two Main Files, pick the appropriate Edition for your modded game. Download, and install with your modding client (i.e. MO2 or Vortex) then activate.
  • FCO Version uses Fallout Character Overhaul (v3.01) races. It requires FalloutNV.esm and FCOMaster.esm.
  • Vanilla Version uses the default game races. It requires only FalloutNV.esm.

Regarding the Load Order, place the mod below any mod that alters the "Novac Motel" cell, otherwise the Navmeshes might break.
   I personally keep it towards the mid-to-bottom of my load order.

Mod Recommendations:
  • The Living Desert - Add more NPCs to Novac, provides more Trading Caravans coming through.
  • Novac Reborn - Revamps Novac's appearance, adds NPCs, additional farms, Brahmin pens, a properly fenced border, etc.
  • NV Novac Apartment - Introduces a fully featured playerhome at the Dino-lite Dee motel in Novac.
  • Willow (Companion) - Introduces honestly the best modded companion in Fallout:NV and a kick-ass playerhome bungalow in Novac.
  • Drag's Novac Overhaul - Creates a custom appearance of most of the unique NPCs of Novac.

Bugs & Development:
Tested:

  • Navmeshes - No issues occured; however any large companion such as a Brahmin or Sentry Bot may struggle to walk through the market.
  • Idle/Furniture Markers -  No issues occured; however you may encounter NPCs walking into other NPCs using Idle Markers already.
  • Combat - No issues occurred.
  • Manny Vargas & Boone pathfinding - No issues occurred.
  • Trade Caravans pathfinding - No issues occurred.
  • Ownership of Items - No issues occurred.
  • Vendor Inventory - No issues occurred.
Not Tested:
  • Raul/Andy Conversation Trigger

Incompatibilities:
Any mod that drastically alters Novac Motel's parking lot. I am unaware of any on Nexus Mods that would do this. Most mods that affect Novac are listed in the Mods Recommendation section above. Please report any incompatibilities you encounter so that I may create a patch.

Other Notes:
As of version 1.5, I cannot think of anything else to introduce to this mod.
After numerous hours of bug testing, tweaks, and other additional features added, I believe this mod to be complete.

In the future, I may reconsider adding custom voices and dialogues to the NPCs, so they feel more unique and have a proper backstory.
For now, their generic options will have to do. Thank you all for downloading my mod and enjoying it! I hope to see new comments posted regularly!

- Fixed AI Data of the vendors, they will no longer try to sell their own weapons.

- Fixed the navmesh around Flynn's junk tent, he should engage in combat now. instead of standing idle.
- Fixed navmesh around Brahmin, it should stay in one spot now, if isn't positioned correctly, it will return appropriately.

- Created custom sandbox AI Package for all the NPCs. 
- Set most of the NPCs to unaggressive. (So they don't chase after random hostile critters.)
- Reworked NPCs Ownership of items (Items won't disappear after buying anymore.)

- Removed Fire Barrel (Light flickering)
- Fixed/Removed vanilla references via FNVEdit that were accidently altered.

- Completely reworked the Navmesh (Deleted original changes, and started over from scratch.)
- Set Ownership of all items to their individual NPC instead of by Faction. (Whenever you buy an item from vendor, it will be removed from the shelf now.)
- Adjusted vendor stands to prevent issues with other mods, and to keep Trading Caravans, Manny Vargas & Boone from having complications.
- Fixed previous "Known Bugs".

- Removed custom-voiced dialogue. NPCs now use generic dialogue.
