This mod makes addictions just like the first 2 fallout games. I found 3-7 days to be the best as the randomness of how long withdrawals last makes it more engaging, but 10 days is a bit too much with hardcore enabled and so I reduced the maximum and also enabled the timer reset option. Do you also know if there would be any way to make the my first labratory of ttw be able to have the same fixer effect? The "de-toxify" effect currently just removes all addictions.
I love the idea of this mod but every time I download it, all my addictions get removed immediately when loading a save. Does the timer start when the addiction begins, meaning I need to have the mod installed before I get addicted? I do not have this issue with the original mod
I assume it's okay to allow the sink autodoc script be overwritten by CyberwareOWB.esp? Presumably it'll just turn the Sink functionality back to normal as if this mod wasn't installed?
Great concept, but all the hardcore-ness immediately vanishes the time I set foot on Big MT… Auto-doc heals you almost like cheating. Is there a way to make it cost caps or add some cooldown between operations? I’d usually regulate myself trying not to spam it, but you know, I’m just a human being.
Sorry I didn't explained it clearly, I mean the situation combining this, Addicted, More Rads In The Ass, Food Effect Tweaks-- more rads, more addicts, and less HP. All single-handedly crushed by the old auto doc.
After actually trying this mod out, I have to admit it works somehow— autodoc always injects me with potent fixers even if I’m not addict to anything, and the visual effect of fixer forces me to think twice before spamming the magic cure. Dunno if it’s a bug or a feature, but it did help me with my autodoc addiction XD
Doc Church can't heal me at all with this enabled. I pay him to treat my injuries but after he's done I'm still at the same amount of HP and my limbs are broken.
Yeah, he's the doctor in Megaton. I usually don't like touching scripts and quests in xEdit but I think I figured out a way to move some stuff around so it works fine.
Just a heads up if you use Cyberware - OWB. Both mods modify NVDLC03SinkAutoDocSCRIPT so depending on which one is loaded first you’ll not have the option for implants or still be able to cure addictions.
Sounds really cool, i'll definitely give it a try. Btw, is this compatible with Vicious Wastes??? This sounds perfectly consistent with that mod - xEdit says it's okay, but here i am anyway :N
