Ever thought about what happens to your character when your playthrough ends? The recent (2024) release of Project Cyrodiil got me to actually play the game for the first time in years, and several months later she's done everything she wants to. Time to retire and let someone else save the world from Dagoth Ur! But I knew that once I started updating my mod list for a new playthrough, I'd never be able to load up her saves again, and it seemed sad to say goodbye forever. So I've built a home for her -- or rather, for an NPC version of her who only experienced the events that were important for her storyline, and not all the hundreds of quests the Player Character completes. In time, I hope to build retirement homes for more of my characters this way, as interesting locations and characters for new PCs to encounter. It's uploaded mostly so I can find it again easily for new installs - but maybe some of you enjoy meeting them too!
