"Upon the land where shadows dance, Mora Guradan, in mystic trance,
Rises proud, in Grazelands’ embrace, guardian of time, in sacred space.
...
For Ald Sunna Vosya, in its grace, a symbol of life, in this sacred place,
Tied to the land, the Grazelands fair, its essence woven in every prayer.
...
Through trials endured, and battles past, this ancient hill, shall ever last,
A sanctuary for the faithful few, Mora Guradan, in twilight's hue."

-Excerpt from the Ballad of the Mora Guradan

Overview:

This mod is a major landscape overhaul for the southwestern Grazelands, covering approximately 25% of the whole region. It is now a land of rising flat plateaus, rocky vales, and hackle-lo groves. Rising above it all is the forested hill of the Mora Guradan and its Ald Sunna Vosya: the Sacred Tree of Life. The inspiration for this tree and the starting point of this mod actually came from Vurts Grazeland Trees which placed a large unique tree in the same location. I sought to breathe new life into this concept with this modern re-imagining.

Features:

Four new quests:
- Help an Ashlander to care for her companion, and prepare a potent Daedric salve for a healing ritual
- Track down a group of Imperial Legion deserters
- Aid a paleontologist by helping to supply his campsite
- Help a wandering Dunmer artist showcase the verticality of the Grazelands

A minor lore expansion for the Zainab tribe, through dialogue entries and the eponymous book "The Song of the Grazelands"

A Landscape overhaul for a portion of the Grazelands, done in my typical style through the exclusive use of static meshes, and zero, actual landscape edits

Improvements to the southwestern Grazelands border, with towering cliffs at the region's edges

A handful of new landmarks throughout the overhauled region, including:
- The Mora Guradan, a forested hill, and sacred site of the Zainab
- A ruined shrine of Azura
- A paleontologist's dig site and camp
- A small, abandoned Dwemer research station
- A now secluded Zainab Camp, with atmospheric additions

A new, cozy bakery and teahouse in Vos, with an unusual specialty (quest-related)

Dozens of other hidden secrets and treasures to find throughout the region, both on top of the plateaus and below

How to Start:

The latest rumors in Vos, the Zainab Camp, and a public notice in the Varo Tradehouse will lead you to three of the new quests in this mod. The fourth can only be discovered by carefully exploring the new region.

Requirements:

OAAB Data
Melchior's Excellent Grazelands Acacia - required for the Acacia Version only

Recommendations:

OAAB Grazelands by MelchiorDahrk

I highly recommend that you use the above mod in conjunction with my own. Besides being of excellent quality itself, I really designed this mod to be complimentary to it in many ways.

Compatibility and Load Order:

The Song of the Grazelands is fully compatible with the following mods that also edit the same or adjacent areas:

Beautiful Cities of Morrowind by RandomPal
The Ashlanders by Duo Dinamico
Thickle-Lo Grove by katyakarrel
The Vanishing Ash-chirps by tewlwolow
Halls Of Colossus by Guars Gone Wild

The Song of the Grazelands is fully compatible with OpenMW. The included MWSE file is an interop for Ashfall compatibility for a couple of new food ingredients added by my mod. If you do not have Ashfall installed it will do absolutely nothing.

If you use Taddeus' Foods of Tamriel, make sure you load it after The Song of the Grazelands, otherwise the script attached to an oven from that mod will be broken. The same rule would apply if you still use Necessities of Morrowind, which Foods of Tamriel is a modern fork of.
