Part of the May Modathon Month
This is a mod for all the collectors - ever hate how you lose certain quest items forever, like the dwemer puzzle box or the flaming eye of the lightkeeper? With this, you can craft replicas of all quest items that you can potentially lose. Inspired by the feature of the same name in Legacy of the Dragonborn for Skyrim.
The recipes will be hidden until you've reached the requisite stage of the quest. Once you've completed a quest that takes away a quest item, you'll receive a notification that the recipe is unlocked. Then, you can go to a replica crafting station at one of the following smiths: Alusaron in the Foreign Quarter, Tuveso Beleth in Ald'ruhn, Meldor in Balmora, Hodlismod in Caldera. These same smiths also sell some of the materials you may need to craft the replicas.
All replicas are identical to their base items in every way, meaning all replacers for those will work on the replicas too, but they will not let you equip them as to retain balance.
Currently supports every quest item in the base game + DLCs, with potential support for quest mods coming soon. Also coming soon: ingots dynamically added to smiths
