If you're using a version with quest edits, then, before reporting for bugs, make sure you carefully check that the issue does not happen on a fresh save or without conflicting mods. If you check through the bugs section, you'll see there's plenty of bugs that have been reported that just straight up weren't there. If it sounds too tedious for you to create a new save and check, then just do a quick flick through the dialogue options in the construction set.
Could you add a version that doesn't decentralize the Imperial cult quests from Ebonheart? I honestly would prefer to still get all the Imperial cult quests from Ebonheart.
"- Decentralizes the Imperial Cult quests away from Ebonheart." - Are the quests still obtained in Ebonheart or are they split amongst other Shrines across Vvardenfell?
You can choose which ever one you prefer, the folders explain the differences in each ESP but all the ESPs are the same so will not conflict with the Total Overhaul install guide
that would be fantastic and feel dynamic esp if you are running main quest...you could get halfway through temple while doing main quest before you realize they are false and leave. this would also make it work with building up uveriths legacy where you have to be a certain rank in each of those factions for them to build at your stronghold. once they are done building though....it should be fine to leave that faction. thats if you play as telvanni and i know of no other mods that do something similar for the other houses....kinda wish they did but oh well.
There's a bit of game dialogue (topic: Morrowind Lore) that got me thinking about this: "Though some Dunmer are Imperial cult initiates, most of them are also members of the Tribunal Temple." I really like the idea of using MCP's faction leaving. Ex, the Temple and Cult tolerate low-rank membership in both factions, but if the player wants to advance to the higher ranks they'll be forced to abandon the other and commit fully to their chosen religious faction.
I think this would be a great addition, and wonderful use of that MCP feature. Much like the guy above wants to leave the Temple for his purposes during the MQ, I kind of feel the opposite way that joining the cult when you arrive makes sense but when you realize the importance of the Temple to Morrowind with or without the Tribunal it makes sense to me that you'd join if acting as a heroic Nerevarine.
Just reviving this quite dead thread because the idea of quitting *any* faction in-game is delicious for several reasons.
Especially for my humble-to-a-fault Bosmer who realizes he's in the wrong club once he encounters Azura and wants to leave the Imperial Cult because nothing's affected him like Azura has.
So the ability to leave the Imperial cult, whether he goes to the Temple or anywhere/nowhere else is AWESOME.
You can't do that in Vanilla Morrowind at all with any cult, can you? You can be in bad standing - but you never are actually mutually expunged from a faction to where it's off your in-game record and unjoinable again.
Since you ended up making so many modules, would there be a possibility for one which has only the quest options? (Or at least add the quest options to the Essentials Edition?)
Technically I've done that with the Crown Edition. There's no faction exclusion or temple markers, but there are quest changes, healers, and supply chests (Essentials is just the last two).
As much as I applaud this mod for its quality-of-life improvements, I don't agree with having restrictions forced on me because of your interpretation of the lore. I wish you would move those restrictions to an optional ESP we can enable or disable at our choice.
Same here. I love the mod, but can't sacrifice an entire faction to run it. If it becomes possible to disable that component at a later date, I would be thrilled.

Nice to switch
- Healing services.
- Supply chests for both.
- Temple markers.
