    Great mod half11!

i just have a question: How is the 10% chance of catching Blight disease in Blight storms calculated? Is it by time(X seconds, minutes) or every time you go from indoors to outdoors? Thanks

Thanks! The 10% chance is calculated on cellchange (the moment you go from cell A to cell B) into a blight storm. It's not time-based.

Never gonna leave my mod list. I actually have a reason to have and cast the cure common disease spell. The way you've assigned the different diseases to various creatures works really well. Nice mod.

I'm planning to update the mod by making it so that existing diseased creatures have a 50/50 chance to carry one of two diseases.

I'm confused. What does this mod do? I've caught some of these diseases in my playthroughs before.

True, not all diseases are new. These diseases were previously not catchable: Chills, Greenspore, Dampworm Rattles Rockjoint, Rust Chancre and Serpiginous Dementia. I have modified the description to make this more clear.

I have a disease called Mucky in my game. Is it caused by this mod? It seems to be uncurable. Tried cure disease / blight disease spells with no luck.

Mucky is part of one of the optional modules of Graphic Herbalism (Graphic Herbalism Extra.esp). Graphic Herbalism has a couple conditions for the mucky state to expire, either waiting for it to dry or - as petina said - washing it off (go for a swim).

The mods main attraction for me is it adding depth to the game, though the extra care and time needed by the player seems like too much. If you made the disease chances rare and surprising it would be a better balance.

Cure Common Disease potions aren't too hard to find at merchants, and there are the spells that cure those diseases too. As the name says, they have to be "common". Though, it would be cool to have "Diseased' variants on all existing enemies so you could identify those that carry the common diseases. But it is good enough the way it is now, imho.

If you experience dealing with diseases in the game as annoying, I would advise against installing this mod. It is exactly that aspect of the game this mod extents on.

Thanks for the 1.4 version with the fix to slow motion rats!
I just want to point that it seems that the fixed 1.4 version only affect new spawned rats. All the already spawned rats will still walk in slow motion. So, you may still find some slow motion rats if you played a bit with older versions of this mod.

But wouldn't this double the chance of catching a disease, because of the double check?

hmm.. i dearly apologize for not being fond of the tes-cs. is it possible, that we make diseases 50-50 chance to appear in a creature?

I think a workaround would be to create another Nix-Hound with the other disease and a different ID and then add the new Nix-Hound to the same levelled lists as the regular Nix-Hound.

Dampworm (Drain Speed 30) may be contracted from Nix-Hound in version 1.1 (but only when you're level 3+, making it less common than the more forgiving Rattles disease). Now all unused diseases are covered, without changing the chance that you will encounter these creatures.
