The first in the CLASSIC MONSTERS mod series takes Gobul from the third generation of Monster Hunter and brings him into the fifth! Replaces Great Jagras. NOW INCLUDES NEW MOVES! More updates will be coming soon.

This mod essentially brings the monster Gobul from the third generation of Monster Hunter into Monster Hunter: World. He is fully animated and features a high-quality custom model that I made myself. Additionally, it now features 4K textures, new attacks, and AMAZING BACK-PUFFING ACTION.

In future updates, I plan to include:
1. Altered Move-set (working as fast as I can with a friend on this) DONE 
2. Additional Icons (Currently working on this, almost done) DONE
3. Gobul's sound effects from MH3U (currently trying to get his sounds from 3U) (Finally got them ripped, now I need to implement them in-game)
4. try to make it so his eyes close when he's sleeping DONE
5. buff his health and damage on low rank and high rank
6. Fix his obvious UV seams that are all around his body DONE
7. Fix the weighting on his back fins so he doesn't walk like someone took a sledgehammer to his legs in some cartoon. (FIXED. but before I upload it I need to 1. polish Gobul's back weights a little more and 2. KeyShotT needs to put the finishing touches on the text edits and then send it to me) DONE
8. Add some Gobul Gear sometime later (probably would have to replace Great Jagras gear)
9. Add tail-cutting effects
10. Change his spawn location so that he spawns in the ocean (currently in development hopefully we will be able to get it to work).
11. Tweak his textures/materials so that he looks closer to how he looks in my Sketchfab render DONE (it probably could still use some tweaking but I think it looks good enough for now)
12. Improve existing icons in that the glow effects that appear when you have tracked the monster match up with the icon DONE
13. Try to get Gobul's pack to puff up with spikes and everything DONE
14. Try to get Gobul's whiskers to sway by weighting them to Great Jagras' dreadlock bones
15. Add more new moves and improve existing ones
16. Add VFX to Gobul's flash attacks (coming soon) DONE
17. I am working on giving Gobul an new and improved model of which you can see in the gallery for this mod 

And hopefully more, but I can't think of anything else right now
