    Project variety for ME2 has received its first and possibly last feature update on the OT. From now on, working on the mods in BOTH versions of the game is literally duplicating my workflow. Seeing how the LE behaves, and the new capabilities it has, engine wise, I am more than eager to move future development there. Of course, fans of this mod, it will take a while to see new features there as all that has been released here must be rebuilt first. There is no easy way to simply "port" mods. Mods must be recreated from scratch. The files are different and non-compatible between editions.

    However, I am not abandoning the mod and I will be on the lookout for potential bugs. Feedback, additions and ideas will be listened, but they will not be implemented on the OT version of the mod. I hope you understand and for the time being enjoy all of the new content included and fixed.

    Project Variety for the LE is a long way from starting actual development but for now, several of its fixes and features can already be enjoyed here if you are looking for them:

    Take as much time as you need to port over this great mod. I can't speak for the rest of the Mass Effect modding community, but like the Reapers I'm very patient.

    I wanted to ask, if you still got the plans to get PV to the LE?
    LE2 still misses a overall mod, like yours. (Maybe with some female turians, to add, for the sake of consistency)

      What unofficial patch? If you mean the one for the Legendary Edition, the answer is definitely no. Mods from the original trilogy do not work in LE.

    Does anyone know whether installing this mod in a game with a different language localization actually breaks the game in any way? Like some dialogs appearing partialy in english etc? Or is the only consequence of doing so the fact that some of the mod's changes (dialog related only) will simply nor show up in my game? That's what the mod's description indicates but I'd like to make sure before installing it. Thanks in advance for the reply!

      As mentioned in the description it's untested. Unlike the Legendary Edition, the original game only ships the languages of your purchased localization, so I never could replicate the edits to other dialogue files which aren't the English ones (note: languages that are subs only use these files too). Text edits are included in English, so their strings will appear instead of numbers in case it's installed with another language.

    Genesis Intro Dialogue Undo Mod, any chance of compatibility patch ?

      I haven't modded OT games in years and don't plan to. The good thing about this case is that you can disable Genesis directly on the original version of ME2, as its core edits to the prologue exist within its own DLC and not as part of the basegame. That is why this mod has both Genesis and non Genesis installation options on the installer.

    Hello. Thx for great mod! Is it compatible with Mass Effect 2 Ultrawide? It only has ME2 Rrecalibrated compatibility patch. May be i should use ME2 recalibrated instead then?

      Recalibrated is not available to download, so unless you already have it stored somewhere, I don't see that being an option.

      I don't understand why any ultrawide mod would need any sort of patch with this mod, though?

      Ok, I'll try your mod after i finish me1 in a couple of days and leave feedback here. Hopefully it'll work. In me1 patch was needed for galactic map to Recalibrated mod and ultrawide work as they should together.

      No, ALOT is always after any content mods unless you want a very visually broken game.
