The purpose of this mod is to create a new gaming experience for players who have already completed FF XII TZA multiple times.

1) All this mod will works only with version 1.0.4 of the game
2) It is recommended to start a new game, this is because some changes will only take effect if you start a new game.
3) Before downloading the file read all description of the mod page
4) If you find errors or want clarifications, write in the POSTS section. When I can I will answer you.


1. Enemies modified in 90% of maps.
2. Completely modified all ,enemies, bosses, hunts, Esper, Rare Games and Secret Boss.
3.The intro cinematics have been edited and the bosses have been recolored.
4. You will play as Basch in the tutorial and see the story from his point of view. 
5. All guests have been changed.
6. All spells and items have been changed and there are new spells never seen in FF XII
7. Completely modified balance of the game. Increased difficulty but not too merciless, very similar to FF XII TZA New Game-
8. All the equipment has been made more diversified and will have different uses, some pieces of equipment can be used more aimed for strategic purposes
9. New jobs with different passive bonuses, and with more differentiated equipment. Each class will be able to use two special accessories that will further diversify them.
10. Modified models for the final weapons.
11. New Bazaar with different descriptions.
12. New loots that will allow you to unlock the new bazaar.
13. Green spells have been completely changed
14. All weapons with different effects and damage formulas and their new names will be changed according to their new uses
15. A new Trial Mode with enemies that will have a completely modified AI
16. New steals for all enemies
17. Completely new hunts that will have to be defeated using different battle strategies. Modification of the 3D model.
18. Modified all treasures in all areas.
19. Tweaked two endgame shops to get you Ribbons or other useful items against endgame and trial bosses.
20. Changed many names of items, spells, etc. .. to adapt to the new balance and use.

There are 3 different types of mods+ the New Soundtrack(Optional)

Path to Greatness

Lion: 
This version focuses on the player's skill.You will only be able to use 4 Gambits, only Belias can be summoned, the other espers have been transformed into Bosses, The characters will have the same growth, you can only use one job per character.Enemies will have HP\MP +150% All stats+20%.

Tiger: 
This version focuses on the player's strategy.You can use all the espers, gambits, double license boards, the characters will have a different growth and the enemies as well as being powerful as in the Lion will also be more aggressive (ATT Speed + 20% Combo + 5%).

Winds of Change

Guest: 
In this version you will be able to play using guests instead of the main characters, and each guest will have a different growth, license board and use in battle. All enemies have +200% HP and All stats+30%

New Sountrack:
Contains 64 new music tracks to give you a different gameplay atmosphere.
Winds: Higher music Of: Background music Change: It will be a mix of the two versions

Game Changes: First Path to Greatness

Weapons: Many weapons have undergone changes to their attack animation(Ptg).

-Bare Hands 2H: They have a greater combo and power. 

-Knuckles 2H: They will be an upgrade of bare hands, they will increase a lot the speed and attack power. 

-Swords 2H: They depend on the speed , can inflict Disease\Slow and are much faster. 

-Greatswords 1H+Shields(Second Job): They depend on the speed , have high evasion and high attack, some can deal elemental damage and can hit flying units.

-Katanas 2H: They are much faster, depend of Magic can inflict Poison or Blind, and have decent attack power. 

-Ninja Swords 1H+Shields(Second Job): They depend on the enemy's magical defense and are much more lethal as they can exploit various enemies elemental weaknesses.

-Spears 1H+Shields: Depend on magical power, and some can inflict Confuse or sacred element damage, they will no longer be able to hit flying units.

-Poles 1H+Shields: They are very slow, depend on vitality and have excellent evasion and combo.

-Bows 2H+Arrows: They are much stronger and depend on strength, arrows have doubled power. 

Crossbows 2H+Bolts: They have a shorter range, they depend on magical power, are much slower, can inflict combos, and their bolts can inflict dangerous altered states such as Disable or Blind. 

-Guns 2H+Shots: They are made faster, have a slightly lower attack and can inflict altered states much more frequently such as Stop and Sap. 

-Axes 1H+Shields: They are slightly slower, much more powerful, depend on strength, and no longer deal random damage.

-Hammers 1H+Shields: Dependent on magic, have higher attack, no longer deal random damage, and give +5 magic power to the user.

-Daggers 2H: They are the weapons with the high speed attack, inflict lethal critical hits, and can inflict altered states with a low probability. 

-Rods 2H: They are more defensive weapons, they give + 45 Mp to the user.

-Staves 2H: They depend on the enemy's magical defense, are special weapons that give slightly different stats bonuses and protect against many elements

-Maces 1H+Shields: They depend on strength and some of their can inflict Silence. 

-Measures 2H: Dependent on vitality, they don't deal much damage but can inflict 6 altered states for 6 different weapon types. 

-Hand-Bombs 2H+Bombs: They have a shorter range, have more power, can now critically strike, depend on strength and can inflicts heavy damage exploiting the various enemies elemental weakness. 

Winds of Change:

Magic Swords 1H+Shield: They depend on the magical defense of the enemy. And some of them can inflict various altered states.

Greatswords 2H: They are very powerful and can defeat the enemies in a few hits

Axes 1H: They deal random damage but have a high combo

Elemental Katana 1H: Moderate damage and attack speed, they take advantage of enemy elemental weaknesses

Guns 2H: Very slow but have a high critical probability

Bows 2H: They hit from distance and can inflict dangerous altered states

Royal Blade 1H+Shield: They inflict minor damage but increase the user's evade

 Protections

-Light Protections: These protections will increase HP Max up to a maximum of +2400 and give a slight bonus to all stats, plus some will immunize from Sleep and halve the elemental damage taken by Earth or Wind element spells.
-Heavy Protections: These protections will greatly increase your strength +24 and your vitality +12 plus some will immunize from Disease and halve the damage taken from Holy or Dark element spells
-Magic Protections: These protections will greatly increase your MP + 256 and your magic power +26 plus some will immunize from Sap or halve the damage taken from Ice, Thunder or Fire element spells.
-ShieldsTheir evasion has been increased and they will give various bonuses like HP and STR\SPD\POW  to the user and will defend him from some altered states and spells.

-Only Tiger Version
VaanGreat HP and good stats, good character to use on the front line or to support the team.
Balthier: He has the highest strength in the group and can easily carry heavy weapons and be on the front line to destroy enemies.
Fran: Excellent vitality and speed stats make she perfect for ranged attacks.
BaschGood HP but low strength and magic is useful as a reserve or as a support.
Ashe: She has all the parameters balanced, use she however you want.
Penelo: It has the highest magic of the group useful for using spells to hit enemies or heal allies

-New Magic:

-Sacred Magic: Very Slow, their job is to recover HP or cast beneficial statuses like HPx2 or Protect. Use them at the right time.
-Spell Magic: Discrete casting speed, they are useful for destroying groups of enemies, several elemental enhancement and debuff spells like Flaeli have been added 
-Chrono Magic: Very fast, their success rate has been increased by 15%, the number of total spells has been reduced, some of them will have backlash effects like Riegan or destructive like Vol.
-Special Magic: Using them at the right time will make some battles impossible, very easy. They can also reverse the course of the battle.
-Forbidden Magic: Spells forgotten over time, they have a very low range attack but they curse the opponent or kill him.
-Abilities: Many useless abilities of the original have now been completely tweaked to be useful, one will deal powerful damage when your HP is close to 0, another will drastically reduce the enemy's MP, it's up to you to find them all.
-Items: Adjusted the power, the cost in the various shops, the range and use in battle. With Knot of Rust being very lethal to enemies.

Jobs:
Path to Greatness


Holy Knight:Use Spears\Shields and Mystic Armor
Excellent physical defense and good HP, specializing on protection buffs like Shu and Schutz and single heals like Rester

Ninja: Use Katanas\Ninja Swords and Mystic Armor
He prefers quick hits, has high dodge, and inflicts dangerous debuffs on enemies like Blind or Sleep.

War Monk:Use Maces\Crossbows\Shields and Mystic Armor
Specializing in healing and damage spells, he does not learn final spells, but he knows how to make good use of the spells he learns.

Chemist:Use Measures\Hand-Bombs and Mystic Armor
He uses items as primary healing, can use many support skills, and inflicts altered states using his weapons.

Tower:Use Poles\Shields and Heavy Armor
Excellent defense and evasion, can survive a fatal blows. Using the Abilites Bubble he can double his HP.

Fighter:Use Bare-Hands\Knuckles and Heavy Armor
He can deal heavy damage using combos with bare-hands, knuckles increase his speed, learn Shifter that increase his damage inflicts by 50%.

Warrior:Use Axes+Shields\Bows and Heavy Armor
Great damage from close and distant and good defenses and vitality, no one survives his lethal blows.

Priest:Use Hammers\Rods and Heavy Armor
He learns many healing spells even at an advanced level but he has low MP and forces you to make good use of him few but excellent spells like Rester that restore 50% of Max HP to one ally.

Thief:Use Daggers and Light Armor
Very useful in various situations is a great support for allies, learn a bit of all school spells and can use Steal at the beginning of the game.

Hunter:Use Guns\Blades and Light Armor
He stay safe at a distance by hitting the enemy and inflicting heavy altered states on them, exploiting the varius spell magics to protect the team.

Swordmaster:Use Blades\Greatblades and Light Armor
Quick and deadly, use counterattack and various spells to curse or slow enemies, or use Saner to speed up the party.

Factotum: Use Staves\Daggers\Crossbows and ALL Armor
This job has slow learning, but if you know how to grow it will become the most useful. Use dagger for quick blow, crossbows to stay safe from enemies attacks and staves to drastically reduce the enemies powers spells. It's also very useful as a Second Job.

Guest Version

Reks\Paladin:
Use Magic Swords\Shields and Colossus Armor
He protects himself and the team by casting Buff and Debuff spells and very balanced between HP and magic power.

Rikken\Warrior:
Use Axes\Elemental Katanas and Fighter Armor
He can inflict a lot of combos and learns a lot of final spells, excellent speed, strength and HP parameters.

Veris\Alchemist:Use Bows and Hunter Armor
Support the team from a distance using items or healing them from various altered states.

Vossler\Berserker:Use Greatswords and Fighter Armor
It repeatedly hits the enemy and has the highest vitality and strength parameters of the group, if put in Berserk it becomes unstoppable.

Elza\Engineer:Use Guns and Hunter Armor
Very useful in any situation, it strikes from a distance and uses the best of its spells and items to help the party.

Larsa\Elementalist:UseRoyal Blades\Shields and Colossus Armor
Excellent healer and magician, make the most of spells to win.

How to install:
  • Download, install and open the Vortex Mod Manager.
  • Select Games on the left side bar.
  • Search for Final Fantasy XII and select Manage.
  • Download and install the External File Loader.
  • Download and install the LUA Loader.
  • Download The mod via the Mod Manager Download button in the files tab.
  • Select Downloads on the left side bar of Vortex.
  • Search for FF XII TZA PtG and WoC and select Install.
  • Enable The mod.
  • Click on Elevate(the blue message) and play.
Choose only one of the three mods and if you want in addition the new soundtrack

If you want to change the version of the mod you are playing, just click on ''Remove'' and then on ''Enabled''.
In this way ,after the reinstall, you will be brought back to the selection list of the various versions.
Don't worry, changing the game version you are playing will not affect or damage your save files and you will be able to continue the game from where you left off.
But If you decide to switch from Path to Greatness to Winds of Change or vice versa, you will have to start a new game. This is because Winds of Change changes all the main and guest characters.
