About this mod

Overhauls the BoS faction (in a somewhat lore friendly way) in a way that would make them a true power in the Commonwealth. At higher levels, you will no longer see a group of 3 vertibirds, 2 power armored paladins, 3 power armored knights, 1 combat armor knight and a scribe get mauled by 2 supermutants with miniguns.

Changelogs
====================================================================
 Overview
====================================================================

General Changes
- Power armored knights will now use the correct power armor for their rank e.g. Paladins will now use the Paladin T-60d power armor instead of the T-60bs used by Knights.
- Added the BoS leveled list for automatic weapons to include the miniguns
- Updated the BoS weapons leveled list to make it so that they would have a higher chance of getting rifle weapons vs pistols

Faction Boss
- Maxson and Ingram now have better stats and will level with the player
- They are both set as legendaries via RobCo and can be enabled or disable by removing the lines in the ini
    e.g. Removing the line "filterByNPCs=Fallout4.esm|642B8:keywordsToAdd=Fallout4.esm|1CF26C:spellsToAdd=Fallout4.esm|1FE6BC" would make Maxson a non legendary enemy

Faction NPC Perks
- Adds perks to faction NPCs that unlock better effects as you progress through the faction's quest line e.g. completing "The Nuclear Option" would unlock a chance to stagger. Note that additional effects like stagger and disarm would only affect NPC vs NPC so if you are fighting the faction, you will not get staggered all over the place.

New NPCs
- Adds new higher level BoS Paladins and Vertibird Pilots, Brotherhood Senior Paladins and higher level variants of Brotherhood Lancer-Captains.

Vertibird Changes
- Vertibirds now have increased health and have resistances equivalent to the base T-51 power armor.
- Vertibird perks added through RobCo Patcher (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/69798).
    - Increased damage from Heavy Guns and explosives. Missile launchers and Fatmans do even more damage.
    - Additional damage reduction from non Heavy Guns. This change does not affect the Player so you will be fighting it like a normal T-51 enemy.
    - Greatly reduced damage from melee. This one does affect the Player as well.
- Crippled a lot less.
- Cannot be staggered.
- Increased minigun damage for the player.
- Decreased minigun spread for both player and npcs.
- Front guns now do damage close to combat/assault rifles.

New Random Encounters
- Adds new assault encounters that uses Random Encounter Framework (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/60074). This change aims to give the faction more interaction with the rest of the Commonwealth.
    - After the Institute is destroyed, the BoS will turn its attention to the rest of the Commonwealth, fighting raiders and gunners.

Midwestern Brotherhood
- Adds the Midwestern or the Chicago chapter of the BoS. Included some little details based on what I've read regarding the Midwestern / Chicago BoS chapter, which includes things like ghoul members and made them use the generic NPC audio so they do not go around yelling "For Elder Maxson" as this chapter of the BoS is considered to have gone rogue, and is still the case under Elder Maxson.

 Installation
====================================================================

This mod is designed to be modular. You can use the changes to the Encounters and the Faction Bosses separately if you have other faction overhauls.

====================================================================
 Compatibility
====================================================================

Whenever possible, vanilla record changes are done through RobCo.

In vanilla, ALL power armored BoS NPCs use the same set of templates which are based on the lowest level NPCs, that's why you have Paladins wearing Knight T-60bs instead of Paladin T-60ds. For this mod, I needed to edit a lot of vanilla record in the ESP in order to fix the issue with the incorrect power armor usage e.g. Paladins wearing Knight's T-60b power armors. In addition, the new npcs are using their own leveled list and would need a patch to be compatible with other faction overhauls.

Weapons and Armor Faction Overhauls
- Examples of this would be the the Look At Me - Brotherhood of Steel Edition.
- Will need to be patched so the new NPCs added by this mod would use the new weapons and armor. Otherwise, they will be using whatever is vanilla.
- Overhauls that override the vanilla BoS NPC armor would also affect the new NPCs added by this mod and would not need a patch.

Faction NPC Stats Overhaul
-  These are faction overhauls that edit the vanilla NPC stats.
- The only changes to vanilla NPC stats is a slight buff to Brotherhood Star Paladin's health, which is done through RobCo Patcher so it should be compatible with most mods.
