Transfer Settlements Blueprint for Oberland Station

WARNING NOTICE

This blueprint requires to scrap some objects which are normally unscrapable. You need a scrapping mod such as Scrap Everything to do that.

I am aware that this will break precombines (see Understanding Precombined and Previs). I have no problem with that, but if you worry about it, do not install the blueprint.

Now with that out of the way:

Objects, that you need to scrap:

  • Tower
  • Fences
  • Trees and tree stumps
  • Shrubs and bushes
  • You should also remove all plants from the dirt plot, because the blueprint will create new plants.

Do NOT scrap these objects:

  • Farm Dirt Plot
  • Railroad Track

If you scrap these objects, NPC pathfinding will be messed up.

Settlement Properties

  • Beds:  13
  • Food:  21
  • Water:  33
  • Power:  33
  • Defense:  145

Notes

  • The blueprint uses blueprint subfolder 40. If this folder is already in use, you need to move the file to an unused, empty subfolder. If you do not have such a folder, simply create one. With a number between 1 and 100.

  • The blueprint may display SimSettlements_XPAC_IndustrialRevolution.esp and CWSS Redux.esp as missing plugins. Ignore it. They are not really required.

  • Since the blueprint uses Sim Settlement plots, you should pay attention to the 3 import options for "Sim Settlements Plots". They are explained on the Transfer Settlements page. If you want the same plots as in the images, you need to activate import option "Import Sim Settlements Buildings" or "Import Sim Settlements Buildings + Upgrades".

  • As you can probably see in the images, i am using a texture replacer mod for the wooden walls (Clean Shacks). This is optional of course, and only necessary if you want the walls to look clean. I recommend to use the Optional File "Clean Shacks Replacer", which  simply replaces the textures. Texture mods are probably the ones with the lowest risk of trouble, and we like that, don't we?

  • If you do not have the optionally required mod More Powerful Windmills, your power may be too low. In this case you may need to add a few generators, or replace the existing generators with a bigger one.
