Changelogs
Version 1.0
Vault Suit Customization Patch was formerly Nexus ID #74104
CC Coffee and Donut Workshop Pack - Fix and Overhaul Patch was formerly Nexus ID #74155
Super Mutant Redux Patch was formerly Nexus ID #74115.
Patches have been consolidated on one page for ease of use.
According to its author, the FATE Patch was intended as a:
comprehensive bug fixing and gameplay enhancing mod for Fallout 4. This is not in any way a replacement for the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch (UFO4P), as this mod is required for FATE Patch to function.
Unfortunately, the FATE Patch has been removed from Nexus, but it is still available online.
FATE is a huge mod that literally contains hundreds of bug fixes and tweaks. When FATE was taken down, one popular modlist replaced it with Community Fixes Merged ("CFM") and 71 OTHER MODS.
LOAD ORDER:
According to the author, FATE should always load AFTER the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch (UFO4P) and PPF.esm and BEFORE prp.esp [Previsibines Repair Pack ("PRP")]. IN ADDITION, FATE should load AFTER any mod for which you are installing a patch. See Section 2.2 on Page 4 of the Readme.
The FATE Patch Installer contains both ESP and ESL versions of FATECore - Fixes and FATECore - Tweaks. Accordingly, these patches do not require -- that is, do not have as masters -- either of those files, so users may choose any combination of ESP / ESL they like.
Personally, I use FATECore Fixes.esl and FATECore Tweaks.esp. As an .esl, FATECore Fixes loads high -- but below the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch (UFO4P), which is an .esm -- so it can fix vanilla game bugs not addressed by UFO4P 2.1.5. As with UFO4P, some of the fixes will be overwritten by other mods, which is generally desirable. I place FATECore Tweaks.esp toward the end of my load order, just above conflict resolution patches.
The FATE Patch should be compatible with the next-gen version of the game (1.10.984), but I have not tested it. However, some (many?) of the fixes included in FATE are also included in UFO4P 2.1.6 and above.
NOTES:
1. FATE makes changes similar to those made by Clarity. However, if you use Clarity, I recommend you keep it installed for patching.
2. The same goes for Glitchfinder's Random Encounter Framework ("REF"). A version of REF is included in FATE, but I recommend you keep it installed for patching.
