What does this mod do? (A lot)
  • Cleans/disables the normally permanent trash, seaweed, junk, muck, debris, house parts, shack pieces, low stone walls, etc.
  • Does NOT modify or remove anything the player can normally modify or scrap.
  • Almost everything can now be scrapped!
  • Only thing not scrapable on the entire island are the shack where the workshop is and boat where you power up the workshop to claim the settlement.
  • Remodels house into a mostly clean version using nicer wallpaper. Still lore friendly, not that new.
  • House can be scrapped layer by layer, roof, than second floor walls, including the foundation!
  • To scrap house there are three four hammers on the second floor beside the stairwell, see images for clarification.
  • Pick up the hammers to keep the house as is.
  • Lowered the floor to match the porch and the landscape/terrain so it would be below the foundation of the main house, also removed the grass and rocks that were under the house.
  • Deck/porch repaired and Rails are repaired and workshop buildable.
  • Remodels mini-garage/greenhouse repairing the damaged roof and glass panels(from my Graygarden fix).
  • Allows almost everything to be scrapped, or moved using Place Everywhere:
  • Shack overlooking water by house
  • Boat shack beside first shack
  • Deck overlooking water near boat shack.
  • Pier running to the boathouse and pier to the south of the island.
  • Ruined shack on the hill
  • Small shack/mini greenhouse
  • ALL THE SHIPPING CONTAINERS! They reset to flat when you pick them up so you can make a container shanty town.
  • Large Barge, although it has a funny angle if you want to move it.
  • Vault crates, also you can stack them now too.
  • 4 different Large Boats - not the tug, its part of the settlement effects.
  • Outhouse on the SE side of the island.
  • Boat Masts - the metal pole things that the power lines run from the tug to the workshop.
  • Lantern inside shipping container is now workshop version.
  • There are two other shacks they were already scrapable.
  • My workshop items library is required, has over 24 new buildables. Must be DL separately.
  • All precombines done for the main settlement and 3 previs. Tested all visuals and collisions.
  • ESL Flagged -  Will not count against plugin max cap.

Warning! Due to the very close proximity and excellent line of sight to downtown Boston, scrapping certain objects will create previs breakage or blinking!
Specifically, the 3 boats on the west shore, and the boat shack over the water beside the main house. If you scrap these objects it will likely cause blinking in and out of building in downtown.

Additional Warning of more visual strangeness as Spectacle Island is really big...
Due to SI's large size and good sight lines within the settlement itself, you will see trees or other structures change when you are on the opposite side of the island. From the center of the island/settlement you wont notice any visual oddities.

All in one is done -> Commonwealth Deep Clean and Remodel Collection
  • This mod is part of the CDCRC ^^^
  • All vanilla settlements are included except for Oberland Station and Boston Airport.
  • The installer will allow player to pick and choose which settlements they want.

Mod Compatibility & SS2
  • This is a stand alone version, not specifically patched for SS2 or any other mod series.
  • Checked SS2 resources, should be compatible. Will test directly via playthrough once I am done with DLC Settlements.

Load Order and Visual glitches
"Breaking Previs"
  • This mod has updated Precombine and Previs (PnP) files, for load order purposes that means it must be loaded after other mods that also have PnP files.
  • PnP in a nutshell -> “There can be only one"
  • The LOOT team was updated about 3 different PnP mods to auto-sort against, but there are too many to potentially count, so place my mods lower down on the list as is reasonable.
  • One of the three mods LOOT should auto-sort for is PRP. This mod is a PnP overhaul mod, that drastically helps with stability and performance. I strongly recommend using this mod. If one of my DCnR mods doesn't auto sort below PRP make sure to add a custom rule or manually sort it out.
  • If any of the content from one of my mods is invisible, blinking in and out, or NOT showing at all there could be a conflict with the load order could be off due to PnP file conflicts

A sample load order for your convenience:
  • Unofficial FO4 Patch
  • PRF (Part of PRP)
  • Cheat Terminal
  • Everyone's Best Friend
  • Radio Add on
  • Raze My Settlement
  • PRP (or any Previs/Precombines package)
  • SS2* (Unofficially, Patches will be done once all settlements are completed)
  • Vilance's DCnR Mods here!

Cleaner Settlement Pro-tips & Help:

  • Raze My Settlement - Auto collects the loose objects like weapons, ammo, crafting materials, etc. Removes normally scrapable, and occasionally normally NOT removable objects (when Precombines are not affected),  all automatically via holotape. Multiple options in tape including keeping trees.
  • To use the mod, run the "Raze my settlement"  holotape, select "Raze" option to auto clear the settlement.
  • Place Everywhere - in workshop mode hit insert key to make more object types selectable and scrapable! Respects Precombines!
  • Scrap Dead Things Still researching this, but its really popular!
  • Blood splatters - In workshop mode, place a floor based object over top of the blood - use something like a food dish or other object that wont carry the decal/stain with it. Pick up the object, the decal/stain should be gone.
  • Please share your cleaning pro-tips with me.

Current known issue:  Just those mentioned above. And rebuilding the precombine/previs on this sucks.

Happy Building!
