-What's new with v1.1?


-Damage rebalance


-The base weapon now does x4 damage from it's original values
Any damage the barrel attachments added on has been increased as well, to varying degrees. (Most are also x4, some are x3)
(Dilated Lens has been left unchanged, as that thing still shreds.)
(x2 and Original values available as optional downloads. x4 was a little too extreme for me personally, but you might prefer it. Only use one version)

-New Ammo Type

-The Ion Cannon now uses Ion Cores which are crafted from Fusion Cores. Also require rank 1 in Science!
This was done to balance out the increased damage gained.
Now you will have to sacrifice a valuable resource in order to make use of this weapon.
Fret not however... Each core spent will grant 100 Ion Cores in return.
Ion Cores also feature a slight retexture!

-4 New Barrel Attachments

-Cryolation Modulator:
Blast Chill generator. Projectiles will deal Cryo damage instead of Fire. Changes Projectile color to Blue.

-Fusion Radiator: Projectiles will explode on impact with nuclear force.

-Sonic Pulse Emitter:
Fires amplified sound waves which knock down enemies.

-Tesla Capacitor: Emits Tesla sparks which arc between targets.

-2 New Paintjobs

-Institute: White and Red paint, with Institute logos.

-Raider:
Rusty and chipped Red paint with Raider graffiti.

-Misc Changes


-New Category in Chemistry Station to reduce UTILITY clutter.
(Items will now be under the ION CANNON category.)

-Various other under the hood changes
(Projectile and Crit Effect rework)

-Added optional file to increase the width of projectiles.

-Can be crafted under UTILITY at the chem station for 1 Biometric Scanner, 1 Military Circuit Board, 5 Circuitry, 3 Gears, 5 Glass, 10 Screws, and 10 Steel

ATTACHMENTS:


-Barrels:

Contracted Lens- The standard barrel attachment for the Ion Cannon. Fires lasers in semi-auto, with a mild rate of fire.

(Requires: None, as this is the standard barrel attachment for the cannon)

Dilated Lens- Converts the Ion Cannon into a full-auto variant. Eliminates recoil, and greatly increases rate of fire, but burns through ammo faster too.
(Requires: 1 Assaultron Circuit Board, 1 Military Circuit Board, 3 Circuitry, 3 Copper, and 3 Glass)

Amplified Lens- Projectiles fired will explode on impact with this attachment, though it has a lower rate of fire than the standard Contracted Lens.
(Requires: 2 Military Circuit Boards, 1 Makeshift Battery, 5 circuitry, and 5 Copper)

-Sights
:

-Recon Module Closed (Iron Sights): This is the standard sight attachment, which features a side mounted iron sight system.
(Requirements: None, as this attachment is standard)

-Recon Module Open: Enables the Recon Module for use, which will tag sighted enemies, and also features a custom scope overlay
(Requirements: 1 Military Circuit Board, 2 Circuitry, and 2 Oil (Scope Overlay Requires Scopes Framework to function))

KNOWN ISSUES:)

The Dilated Lens animations don't work in third person, as in vanilla Fallout 4, the missile launcher has no full-auto animations.
(I hope to fix this for version 2.0 with custom animations, but for now, only use it in first-person, or choose one of the other barrel attachments.)

There's a movement bug in vanilla Fallout 4, that when you fire the missile launcher in 3rd person while moving diagonally; backwards and to the right, your character will actually move forward and to the left.
(This is another issue I hope to have addressed in the 2.0 version, but this also requires custom animation work.)

The weapon uses Fusion Cells, but reloads Fusion Cores. CHANGED IN v1.1
(I modeled the canon around the fusion core, but prefer using the fusion cell as ammo, rather than cores, which can have some weird quirks.
I suppose you could change it in the CK if it really bothers you, though I plan on making a new ammo type for v2.0.)
