I wish there where more things to go with this, either similar designed weapons, or an armor set that isn't an official halo set, maybe taking some inspiration from fo76 secret service armor or scout armors. But with some halo styled customizations.
Possibly the best over the shoulder weapon mod ive used, this thing is so cool!
Someone mentioned code for making it have a charge? if you could get that working this thing would be that much cooler, (imagine the wind up in VATS :0)
I don't wanna sound mean, but man that's some low damage imo. For something that's supposed to shred power armor, it... doesn't really do a whole lot of damage to a raider in scrap metal.
Yeaaa, I should've tested the damage on vanilla, forgot I was using GCM. I'm working on an update currently, I'll update the damage and be sure to test it on a clean save before I release it. Thanks for the tip!

Very much enjoy, though I can't help but feel like the fusion radiator mode is missing something... Perhaps a small charge time? Maybe some minigun code could be reused for that.
Charge time is definitely something I want to add on ALL the attachments, but that requires custom animation work which I'm still working on. That being said, that attachment was mostly just for fun ;)
Awesome! I only have around 3 weapons currently that match my Armour sets so far, so this is greatly appreciated, i'll be sure to endorse once nexus lets me
First, Foremost, and above all else, automatic download and endorsement (once able) as heavy weapons, especially heavy energy weapons are hard to come by. Not to mention how good this looks, as-is.
A suggestion for the 3rd Person issue with the Dilated Barrel. Degenerate Dak ran into the same issue with his .50cal SMMG, as he recycled the missile launcher animations as well. Perhaps he can help point you in a good direction for a fix to this issue.

However, I think I'm on the right track for a fix, but it requires custom animation work, which is an entire beast in it's own right. (Same goes for the charge functionality ala the Gauss Rifle, to make it more in line with the OG Spartan Laser)
As soon as I figure it out though, I'll update the mod with a 2.0 release.
glad to hear. noticed the same damage issue as Azzy had mentioned, however it made for a respectable early-mid sniper of sorts.
Given how you've used the missile reload animations so well, I wonder, almost as a sort of joke, would it be possible to make a special "Overpowered" Barrel that alters the system to use Fusion Cores as the ammo with damage outputs and effects rivaling a Fatman? A way to really put the CANNON in your Ion Cannon?
