About this mod

This is a blueprint for the office location added by the Gun For Hire mod by Flashy(JoeR), and apart from objects added by that mod only uses Vanilla and DLC assets.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
I recorded a tour of the build for my YouTube channel which also features my other settlement builds:

Installation

  • Either install with a Mod Manager or extract the files and copy to your Fallout 4 game folder.
  • Ensure you have Transfer Settlements, HUDFramework, F4SE (including the script files) and Gun For Hire installed.
  • The blueprint uses Slot 38, if you have an existing blueprint using this slot you will need to move the blueprint .json file to different folder
  • Download and extract the files from 'FFV - GFHO Furniture Batch Files.zip' to your Fallout 4 Game Folder, or enable using the Injector method within Vortex.

Importing

Travel to the required location and then import the settlement via the Transfer Settlements holotape, detailed instructions on this process can be found on the Transfer Settlements mod page.  After inpsecting the workbench to enable the settlement ensure the following options are enabled options from within the holotape:

  • Enable 'Import DLC items / Import mod-added items'.
  • Enable 'Import wired power connections'.
  • Enable 'Restore snapped power connections'.

The office comes with a desk, chair and bed for the assistant which need to be moved either before or after importing the blueprint.  I have included batch files for each object to move them to the correct position, just select one of the objects in the console and then run its related batch file:

  • Assistants Bed – BAT GFHO-Bed
  • Assistants Desk – BAT GFHO-Desk
  • Assistants Chair – BAT GFHO-Chair

NOTE:  After importing the blueprint none of the lights will be working.  To correct this you will unfortunately need to go around and select and then cancel each light source within build mode (if anyone has a workaround for this please let me know).
