You just have to renumerate the plugin's low form id in FO4edit (Fallout VR can’t read FormIDs lower than 800) Well I went futher and publish my patch if other VR enjoyer want to ziiiiiiip those lines : https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/81033
for some reason I always die when I zip from the top of the "screen wall" in starlight drive-in to the floor. Is this normal or do I have a mod that gets that effect? Could it be that the "immersive fallout" mod which doubles the falling speed is causing the issue?
I'm betting by some bethgamebryo mechanic it is just calculating the distance dropped to calculate fall damage. (Based on KitKat's description of the problem. Any mod that outright eliminates fall damage should fix it. I have a variant of jetpack perk with[out] fall damage with the suspicion this will resolve such an issue.
I'm in love! Swapped out the central tree in Covenant using Place Everywhere for a massive leafy treehouse equipped with a zip down to the front gates, so much fun! Fantastic work, thank you!
Hey guys, there's a sweet flaw in the Ziplines I like to share (Zorkaz, please don't fix it lol).
If you build the Zipline poles and connect them with wire as normal you would be limited in distance by he length of the wire, right? However, scrap the wire after building it and you will still be able to zip across without the wire
It gets much better, now pick up one of these poles and place it ANYWHERE you want, no matter how far (no limit anymore) and you will still zip across perfectly, even go through buildings etc lol.
I have "no settlement build limit" cheat in my game and I placed one pole at far end of Sanctuary and the other pole outside Freedom Museum in Concord and zipped all the way there and back, I could've gone to Spectacle Island if I wanted to. Oh, and it works in all directions obviously, so you can build high up in the sky and use these sweet Ziplines to get up there and back down to earth again.
Thank you Zorkaz for these, for me they have solved a huge point-to-point transportation problem. Can I be cheeky and ask if it would be possible to make another version of these exact Ziplines which use teleportation like your ladders instead of the zip animation?
Thank you again either way and congratulations for making the Hot Mods section with this mod, definitely deserve it, respect.
Yeah as stated on the front page the wiring is aesthetical only, because there is actually no function to check if wires are connected or not. I might make teleport stations sometimes. But also as an optional trap.
Bethesda really left us hanging with the splines in general....We could create so much more and are stuck with splines that cant be moved like we need them to... Still i think you did a great job !!
Genius, I was looking into a way of using the harpoon to make a zipline as an alternative to jetpack/teleportation mods. I only know basics of modding so never made it. but I believe you could. Very well done indeed, and I am glad I was not the only 1 with a zipline idea.

1. The movement won't fit the wiring. The wire is aesthetical only
2. Confused about creating ziplines? This video shows how to
Building Ziplines
3. NPCs can't use this, only the player can!
4. ESLs are known to have issues with recognizing navmesh. But I made it, I swear!

Try the four floors to slip down and the legs are disabled haha
