ABOUT
An unofficial update to DeadPool2099's .45 Auto Pistol (Colt M1911) mod that contains a number of adjustments, bug fixes, tweaks, and more.

FEATURES
  • Adjusted crafting recipes and perk requirements for a small handful of attachments- particularly the grips, weapon paints, and muzzles.
  • Adjusted (and added) mod collections and object templates so that weapons that appear in the world are more consistent with vanilla weapons.
  • Balance adjustments:
    • Decreased weight from 2.5 to 2.4.
    • Decreased value from 60 to 45.
    • Decreased damage from 30 to 22.
    • Changed suppressor noise level from Silent to Quiet.
  • Added a new Long Light Barrel attachment option for the standard .45 auto pistol.
  • Added a new aim model that has slightly more recoil than the vanilla 10mm pistol.
  • Magazines, sights, muzzles, and weapon paints are now shared between standard .45 auto pistols and the unique A Light Shining In Darkness.
  • Added a black material swap for the magazines, compensator, muzzle brake, and suppressor.
  • Made slight adjustments to the standard compensator, muzzle brake, and suppressor textures so that they more closely match the color of the standard .45 auto pistol texture.
  • Added new scripted weapon LL injection- weapon will start appearing on Gunners, Gunner bosses, Railroad agents, Triggermen, Minutemen, bosses, vendors, and as legendary drops starting at level 14.
  • Changed the unique A Light Shining In Darkness to use the Incendiary legendary effect instead of the custom one from the original mod. This should fix an issue from the base mod where the effect did not apply properly.
  • Fixed a bug from the original mod where the unique A Light Shining In Darkness was missing range modifiers on its barrel.
  • Incorporated fixes from MischiefBrew0's 1st Person Power Armor Footsteps Fix mod.
  • Incorporated standard and suppressed firing sounds from snt2045's Power 1911 mod.
  • Weapon paints now use the default weapon material attachment point and can be added and removed from all .45 pistols, including the unique A Light Shining In Darkness.
  • Adjusted names and descriptions to match the vanilla game's naming conventions.
  • Fixed a handful of spelling and grammar errors.

Due to the new leveled list injection added by this mod, a new save is recommended so that the weapon isn't added twice into your game.

REQUIREMENTS

INSTALLATION
Install using a mod manager such as MO2 or Vortex. Make sure to load this mod after the original. For example:

  • 45autoPistol.esp
  • .45 Auto Pistol - Unofficial Update.esp

NOTE: If you have an older version (1.x) of this mod installed, you will need to start a new game due to the changes made in version 2.0.

KNOWN ISSUES
None that I am aware of at the moment.

Patching may be required to work with mods such as Tactical Reload. I do not use Tactical Reload, so I cannot guarantee its compatibility.

You can reach out via the Posts tab if you encounter any bugs or issues. Please make sure to provide your load order and a list of steps to replicate the issue, however.
