This mod, which I usually call old ECO, is no longer maintained because its successors got released. Its set of features got split up into three separate more focused mods in order to improve compatibility and user experience considerably. You can now pick and choose what you want to make use of, instead of being forced into certain features and having to patch incompatible mods. Those new mods also come with many new features. There won't be any updates for old ECO, but the mod page will stay available in case you prefer to use this one instead of the new one. I won't provide any support for old ECO.
Development continues on the following new mod pages:
Then you most likely have a patch for CLM installed that obviously relies on CLM and misinterpreted the Vortex message. Fix your load order and you won't have to install CLM.
You were right. Sorry, my mistake I must of hit the patchcheck by accident and missed it. (It was ECO_CustomLegendaryModifications.esp patch, so, I installed it by mistake).
hello ,is anyone had problem loss the legendary effect on weapon when try to modification on spot, like change firing mode, ammo change, etc,and your weapon become a normal weapon? the quick modification itself is work like a charm but i loss all of my legendary effect when i do that.
edit: dont mind this one, finally figure it out.load order trouble and compatibillity.and totally my mistake.
Hey, been a few months since I played Fallout 4 and I wanted to get back into it. I could have sworn before I stopped playing that I was able to see my character's glasses and beard underneath the Red Flight Helmet. After updating ECO (and a few other mods, but none that as far as I know affect armor), I'm not seeing the glasses or beard with that helmet equipped now. I know that the helmet isn't supposed to show anything underneath it, and it's an existing vanilla thing that it can make characters appear clean-shaven, but I thought ECO changed that before. Am I remembering wrong? Thanks!
Edit: Nevermind, I think Vortex had automatically disabled the ArmorOverrides plugin for some reason. I turned that back on and all was well.
You can scrap any armour or clothes that can also be modified/upgraded. For other items use the settlement workbench to scrap (ie. drop to the ground first, then scrap in workshop mode).
I have a very simple problem. I've installed ECO and yet for some reason, when I try to use Kellog's outfit underneath other armor, it never lets me, and operates much like base fallout. Does anyone have any tips on what type of mod might cause that conflict?
EDIT: Never figured out the conflict, just made ECO a low priority override and it worked.
Happy New Year! A quick question, does anyone know if certain legendaries stack if put on different armor pieces? For example, the Vanguard (FO76) legendary mod, if I remember correctly from that game that enchantment stacked and was my main meta when it first came out. (also the last time a played that dumpster fire of a game)
Is there an option that needs to be turned on to make armors invisible? I had it by default on a playthough a few weeks ago but I tried to use the bench just now and it isn't an option.
Yes, it's a bit hidden though. For armour without any legendaries you need to select no legendaries first, then armor options and then you'll have the appearance option where you can make it invisible.

Equipment and Crafting Overhaul (ECO) - Redux
