About this mod

Tiny plugin mod with things I was looking to add in my own builds. Decided they might be a little too lore-breaking/idiosyncratic for Kuro Tab, so I spun them off into a plugin. But by this point, I came to realize it was hard to work plugins into Kuro Tab as it was built. So see this as maybe a small sample of just some of the things to come.

At a certain point, I started thinking about trying to make denser, more compact builds. My ideal would be something like the tight alleys in Japanese cities with hole in the wall bars & maybe just enough room for a half a dozen patrons, but also, at the same time, not too weeby? Still, I realized that this might be slightly lore-breaking, so I looked to make these things as sort of a plugin spin off & optional for folks like this. At the same time, given how large & unwieldy the Kuro Tab already was, I realized it wasn't really designed in a nice way for additional plugins like this. So this & the SCOL pack, will probably be the only ones for right now.

But think of this as sort of like a small sample of some of the things I might try to do moving forward.

Included are flickering light up signage pieces based on the vanilla xray lightboxes. They animate & flash a little but don't use power. Two are for unique bars, one soviet themed, another tiki themed. But also, I added some similar Red Rocket ones for whatever mancave/dive bar sort of biker pools I guess as well.

There are also a few tropically themed paintings, designed to fit with the tiki bar motif. And I wanted to add the hotel key piece, but also thought it might look a bit like a series of apartment mailboxes maybe? I dunno that was the idea.

There's also a few SCOL versions of the Kuro Tab Plastic bins stacked like the plastic crates you usually see lining these types of alleys. Along with some plants to spruce up the outside a little. And speaking of SCOLs, I've added some HVAC looking machinery you can use Place Everywhere to jam into a wall for detail.

And finally, there are some decorative "tight stair" pieces. These are narrow & not supposed to actually be used or functional. But if you were looking to build a second floor you'd have a hard time actually reaching & wanted to give a quick idea as to how someone was supposed to get up there? Plop one of these bad boys between two walls for some sense of plausibility. Just don't think you're going to get a piano up them.

Like I said, it's weird odds & ends I was mostly just making for myself. You might find use, you might not, & that's totally okay. That's why I made this as a completely optional pack!
