    FAQ:

    Q:
    If my screen resolution is 1080p or 720p do I still need a 4K texture?

    A:
    The Screen resolution is not the same as texture resolution.
    The resolution for the texture is independent and is not affected by screen resolution.
    So... You can have a CRT screen with 800x600 and a 4K texture would still be better and sharper than a 2K texture.

    Q:
    [size=8]Can this mod cause bugs?[/size]

    A: No, Textures can't cause bugs, the only thing they could cause when properly textured is when your graphic card don't have enough vram and displays purple textures. Now as you see, it's still not caused by my mod but by the user side.

    The game is very buggy, but we can't fill my site with bugs that can't be caused by my mod.

      1.) Go into Fallout 4 main directory
      2.) In the Data folder, create a folder called textures and simply copy the interface and animobjects folders into there.

      If you are using Mod Organizer 2 you need to go into the INI editor and in the fallout4.ini file find the line:
      sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\

      Change it to this:
      sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\

      It should definitely work now.

      TO MAKE THE PIPBOY SCREEN DARK LIKE IN THE SCREENSHOTS FOLLOW THESE ADDITIONAL STEPS:
      1.) In the INI editor, go into fallout4.ini
      2.) Add this code:
      [Pipboy]
      bPipboyDisableFX=1

    I know you say that this doesnt cause any bugs but I can confirm that I get "LOOKUP FAILED" on my vault suit when I have this mod installed. If I uninstall it, it reverts to normal. Might be because the mod conflicts with another mod somehow, I don't know.

    I really like this mod though :/

    Absolutely great work! Just wanted to say that the Pip-Boys in "All in one" package don't include dirt in the glass (or at least I couldn't get it to work). When I downloaded the stand-alone package (2K Vanilla), the dirt appeared.

    Feels more immersive. Have not figured out how to get the display to change from green but the pipboy itself looks much better. Definitely worth it when youre looking at it as often as I do

      You can toggle an option in your Fallout4.ini (or better yet, create a Fallout4Custom.ini in the same folder):

      [Pipboy]
      bPipboyDisableFX=1

      no, incompatibility is when 2 mods causes issues. Just like 2 people who just doesnt connect with each other is incompatible.
      Textures is a replacer. Which means it replaces the first one and therefore doesnt cause any gamebreaking issues.

    I chose the black screen option but my menu is still green in the pipboy. The only other thing I have for pipboy is the improved maps and grids mod and thats about it.

      In case you use the NAC weather mod, this is causing the issue.

      it's not NAC causing the issue chief.

      You have to go in your INI and turn off visual effects from the ppboy

    I'm completely stuck! I installed the mod but now when I pressed TAB to use the PIPBOY, it's instantly zoomed in so close that I can only see half the PIPBOY in my screen. Because the rest of it is outside the screen area. Basically it's massively zoomed-in.

    I've tried everything I can think of to zoom it out. I tried simply right clicking and dragging the mouse around to zoom-out the PIPBOY, but once I let go of the mouse button it zooms right back in and won't let me do anything. Other then press TAB again to exit the PIPBOY screen.

    I also tried tweaking the FOV settings in the Fallout4.ini file, but that didn't do anything either.

    I could really use some help with this, please.

      I'm sure if this is what happened , I dont use this and tracking because I like the look, but sometimes in game , when I'm in pip boy view, I might press down on the right mouse button a little too hard and its instantly like a screen zoomed in , and right in my face , and by pressing right mouse button again make it zoom out ,
      Is this what is happening for you maybe ?

      No, that isn't it at all. I press tab to bring up the PIPBOY and it's instantly zoomed in too much. If I right click on the mouse I can zoom it out, but can't do anything with the PIPBOY, because as soon as I press the left mouse button or release the right mouse button. It instantly goes back to being zoomed in to far. Currently in order to use the PIPBOY like this, I've had to use the arrow buttons on the keyboard. I need to find out how to fix this issue that doesn't involve completely uninstalling the game. Because even after I tried removing the mod with the NMM, it apparently didn't completely remove, because I still have the issue.

      So at the very least I need to know what setting to tweak, to get the PIPBOY to zoom away from the characters face to a normal location.

      Have you installed any pipboy textures/paints or pipboy map mods that might be conflicting with it?

      it's just textures, something else is causing it, problably some old meshes from other mod or something that messes up this mod. It's technically impossible for this mod ( Textures ) to cause issues by itself.

      I use controller the back key tap zooms into the screen the % can be changed in the .ini. If somehow this has changed you can backup then remove ini files relaunch the game via the Fallout.exe this will reset them also take a look in the FalloutCustom.ini but setting in here will not change anything in the Prefs.ini only in the Fallout.ini.

      Hope this helps.

      have you tried double clicking the RMB?

      you could also just change your Pipboy FOV by pressing tab and then ~ while the piboy is up and typing in "fov 90"

      I had that problem. It was driving me nuts.

      I was able to fix it, though. Here's how.

      First, I installed this, choosing the options I wanted. Then I installed the following mod, overwriting all:

      Yeah this would fix it, but it removes the glass (or cracked textures) too. sadly
