Cait's lore-friendly makeover

Cait Re-figured is a simple mod that changes the appearance of the companion Cait (a completely original idea I know). This is an edit I made of her originally through Amazing Follower Tweaks because I didn't like how other mods changed her appearance; many of them felt too perfect or just didn't really fit her character imo. I thought I'd share in case anyone else liked my changes and didn't feel like putting in the grunt work.

Installation: This is only an .esp file. There are no models, textures, or meshes to worry about. Install with your mod organizer of choice, or drop it in your Data folder and activate like anything else.

Until I can learn some simple scripting, you'll have to download both files and have only ONE active at a time for immersion purposes. Otherwise, pick which look you like better for Cait and only download that one.

Load Order: If you have Amazing Follower Tweaks installed, load my mod AFTER Amazing Follower Tweaks. This is just a precaution. I've not personally had issues with Cait, but I've had them with Piper, and this is what fixes it with her. It shouldn't matter with anything else.

Troubleshooting: I can't imagine there should be any problems but a couple of things to keep in mind:
1. Make sure you don't have a different Cait replacer installed. Specifically one that'd change her face morph.
2. Do you have any other mods directly affecting companions? Load my mod AFTER them. Having something lower in your load order is basically telling the game what gets the final word in if that makes sense.

Here are the most obvious changes if you're curious about the process;. You don't need to read this for installation; I'm just passionate about character design :)

Thoughts & Process: I wanted her to still have an airy, dissociative look she has in her original face since she's an active drug user getting beaten for a living. Similarly, I've tried to make her look a washed out and sickly because of the drug use. I also wanted to emphasize a bit of a "sad puppy-dog" eye  because she's a very sensitive person who's been through A LOT.  She's not perfect looking while still being quite beautiful, if I do say so myself.

Face Sculpting: I've increased her eye size and made them very downturned to achieve the sad look. Her eyebrows are much thinner now. Her nose is a little longer, thinner, and is more crooked to imply it's been broken before (probably many times). Her jaw is a bit wider and more angular. Her original body slider had her very thin. While this is concurrent with a sickly motif, I feel like even she would have built up a little muscle in her time with the Combat Zone.

Makeup: I've toned down her makeup quite a bit, more specifically the lipstick. I don't want to rag on the original too much but I honestly just couldn't stand how orange it looked. Orange was actually a very popular lip color in the 40's/50's. I've gone with a much deeper red/pink lightly applied with the lip matte at 100%. I think it gives a more natural color while also giving a little bit of a sickly undertone. If I had made it brighter with less matte, she would appear a bit livelier. While that's fine, it's not what I'm going for, at least not until after she's been cured.

Blemishes: I got rid of her sun scorching, added cheek/eye gaunt and rough face, and increased the red nose slightly to sell the "I've been through hell, and now I have withdrawals" look. She shouldn't be looking very healthy and is gonna be the illest with this mod. Her eye shadow was left alone since I thought it added to the sick motif.

I've installed replacers for some textures, so she'll use your replacers if you've installed any. If you want her to look exactly like the screenshots, I'm using Eyes of Beauty, Wasteland Salon, and Valkyr Face Texture in "Fair Skin" with the matching body texture for CBBE.

For the environment, the ENB in use is Vivid ENB, Vivid Weathers, and Fallout 4 Seasons in winter.

This mod was made possible by FO4Edit, LooksMenu, and Face Ripper. Give them some love as many other mods wouldn't have been possible without them!
