A patch for Horizon 1.5+ by Zawinul and Urban Food Expanded 1.0. by clintmich. Both are truly excellent mods, that sadly don't don't play well with each other. But we can patch it! (Still functional with Horizon 1.7, but missing disease risk for Desolation mode)

Horizon is a massive overhaul to the base game, and Urban Food Expanded adds more than 40+ food items to the vanilla game. This patch makes them compatible.
For this patch to work as intended you must install Horizon 1.5+ first, along with it’s dependency DEF_UI.
Then download Urban Food Expanded 1.0 , and then the Unofficial Urban Food Expanded - Horizon - Compatibility Patch.
Install : Simply overwrite Urban Food Expanded 1.0 with the Unofficial Patch.
If the patch is installed correctly, all Urban Food should appear in the Horizon lists/inventories, with the proper DEF_UI tag. Healing effects (but not radiation) will be removed from everything the mod adds, and Urban Food items should be found throughout the game.
Note: Urban Food Expanded does not currently support NukaWorld or Far Harbor. All that means is that you won't find any of the new food items in the world-space/vendors, but it shouldn't break your game.
Note on load order: I run Expanded Urban Food before Horizon, as per the mod author's recommendation. I haven't had any issues, but your mileage may vary.
Remember to Endorse and support the original mod authors :)

The original patch was posted back in May 2018 but has since been taken down. All I'm responsible for are pics and the detail page. If anyone can remember the original poster, please contact me so that I can credit their work.
