It's a nice patch, but the involved install process is unnecessary. Moving the mod to overwrite Urban Food Expanded is enough, you don't need to do all of this finangling with the esp.
I've gotten a few messages about this. I initially had some issues myself when overwriting with mod manager, but the problem was with my setup. I'll remove the excess instructions/screen-caps. Thanks for the heads up.
