Q: If my screen resolution is 1080p or 720p do I still need a 4K texture?
A: The Screen resolution is not the same as texture resolution. The resolution for the texture is independent and is not affected by screen resolution. So... You can have a CRT screen with 800x600 and a 4K texture would still be better and sharper than a 2K texture.
Q: Can this mod cause bugs?
A: No Textures can't cause bugs, the only thing they could cause when properly textured is when your graphic card don't have enough vram and displays purple textures. Now as you see, it's still not caused by my mod but by the user side.
The game is very buggy, but we can't fill my site with bugs that can't be caused by my mod.
Just a heads up for anyone using this - I had many mods adding loose texture files into my game so I decided to pack them all into separate BA2's. After a lot of frustration trying to pinpoint the problem, it turns out this texture overhaul was making me CTD when trying to load my game with it packed into a BA2.
All loose file textures, so it'll override if CPAO and BPAO do anything texture-wise (if at all). So yeah, it's compatible because its just textures; CPAO and BPAO are mostly about re-balancing who wears what type of power armor and aesthetically adjusting certain paints.
:( i love your pipboy and PA textures .. it really a pain when this pack still not finish , i used PA redone for last playthrough , it was good but i still prefer using your pack especially for screenshot . Wish you pick up where it left in near future . Endorsed x100
But the other armors aren't finished, creating a very apparent difference between armor texture quality in game. Fortunately, You don't really run into X-01 or T-51 wearers often in game (and there is a raider overhaul), but I still wouldn't recommend downloading an unfinished and outdated mod.
In theory, I'd argue a texture can be outdated if things like compression methods and/or workflow procedures have radically improved or otherwise changed in the community since its last update.
That said, in this particular mod's case, I imagine it likely comes down to personal preference. More than three years later, the quality on these is still pretty impressive.
Yeah, I'm going to listen to you. What an idiotic message. Go elsewhere indeed. I can think of quite a few places you could go but that is neither here nor there when someone mistakes a texture file for a mod uncompleted. Plebeian.
This mod is awesome. It's a pity you didn't finish all the armors. There are now tools like Substance painter, you can make amazing things in. Why not?
Did you actually bake out the normal? If so It's really good to see some texture mods that don't just crank up the normal map, and use proper, up to date workflows!

Out of topic but do you have plans to finish the other power armor textures? Just wondering.
Thanks for your hard work!

first of all the mod is not broken, it doesnt ctd it works perfectly fine!
just because is unfinished that doesnt give you any rights to send people to some where else.
