I will not be adding a fix or support for this issue. I've told the author of PRP that they are free to create a patch, if they would like. I haven't played FO4 in years and no longer have any of the modding tools installed, so it would be simply too large of an undertaking for me to deal with. I hope for your understanding. Thank you.
If I recall correctly, it’s because those particular twigs use the same texture as the leafless branches on the trees. Removing those small twigs removed the branches from the trees and the trees looked terrible.
If you grab a mod that puts leaves on trees, those twigs will look more like bushes and not such an eye sore.
P.S. Thank you for posting the picture with your comment. That helps a lot! I’m pinning this to the top of the comments so others can see and read it as well.

Yagichan's above linked mod resolves the shrub issue provided you are using PRP 74 or higher. PRP 69 does not have the required changes to make it work as expected.
Loose texture files don't use plugins. If you use the version without a FOMOD, you'd just stick the Data folder onto your Data folder. I can't even remember how FOMODs work; it's been too long. I think those are best installed using a mod manager like Vortex.
This is (was?) a fantastic mod! Really made settlement building way more enjoyable. I had to do a hard reset of my xbox and all of the mods on my current game disappeared. I found every one of them except this one. Any chance it will become available again at some point? Thank you.
Apparently whoever I had given permission to to post it on xbox decided to take it off of xbox for whatever reaason. Real life keeps getting in the way, but if it's as simple as loading this up through the CK to post it on xbox (that's a rumor I've heard), I'll look into it as soon as I can.
Is it possible to do additional texture swaps using FO4Edit? If so, how would I do that? I'm in Nuka-world, and there's some tall grass that I'd like to make transparent that isn't affected by the main mod or the additional grass addon.
I'm using MO2, btw, if you need to point to file locations. I've found some possibilities for the object records in FO4Edit, but will probably take trial and error, since they don't show an ID in console ("non-ref object").
I never used FO4Edit to have it read another texture for a specific object, so I don't know how that works. And I don't have the game or FO4Edit installed to try to figure it out, sorry.
Although, if you know what the texture's folder path is, you can take any of the transparent textures from this mod, rename it to whatever texture you want hidden in-game, and create that folder path within your game files and stick the transparent texture where the original texture would be.
Hi, first off just wanted to say I really enjoyed this mod and had been using it for years, as it made building easier in a lot of settlements and easier to find enemy corpses. Just recently as I am on xbox, I couldn't get in the mods menu due to the "Operation could not be competed" bug that locks me out the mod menu, due to a mod being removed/deleted. I noticed this mod did not come up in the search results in the menu and the bethesda website, any reason why it was removed?
I never put this on the bethesda website or on xbox. Someone offered to do it a long time ago, and I said they could. I suppose they decided to take it down. I have no idea if xbox mods require different formatting, but I'll look into it later to see if it's something I could take care of and post myself.
Ah okay, I was wondering. But thank you for making this mod in the first place, for responding, allowing someone to upload it for console players, and also taking the time to look into it. I'm in no rush, only when it is convenient for you. I understand you no longer mod, but at the very least, thank you very much.
i installed it with mod organizer but it doesn't work. i also tried to change files by hand but nope. i had this issue before and fixed it within the mod organizer settings but now i don't remember. if anyone knows why, help me please :(
It's just textures, so the only reasons I can think of as to why this wouldn't work is, 1. They're not getting installed in the correct location (since you tried to install this by hand before, I doubt this is the case) 2. They're getting overwitten by another mod
Such a wonderful mod! I'm currently using it with Fallout 4 Seasons and it works just perfectly. Some bushes still are visible, but that's because of Fallout 4 Seasons i think. Simple things that make big difference. Thank you very much!

Thank you.
Finally - that cursed shrub is gone.
Update: 5/12/25 - I got it to work, it's all good now.
