Hello, I have installed this mod for some time now but I am still not sure whether it is running properly or not. I haven't noticed any big differences yet.
So the question is: Where in the load order should this mod be? As high as possible or as far down as possible?
Thank you very much for your time reading this. Best regards.
This mod changes the settings (fAIGreetingTimer, fAIHeadTrackDialogueResetPositionTimer, fAIMinGreetingDistance, fAICommentWaitingForPlayerInput and others). If you do not have any other mod that changes these settings then the load order does not matter.
I haven't noticed any big differences yet. He changed the timers and distance. No new content.
"Ever wondered why NPC's always seems to have a longer pause between each sentence? Well No more, They are actually talking like people should do now." Is this the mod effecting scripted dialogue between player and npc's overlapping? Or does this only effect ambient chatter between npc's?
I recently came back to Fallout 4 for the first time in years, and installed the STEP mods, which included this one.
The first companion I recruited in a new save to follow me around was Danse. Whenever I'm standing still for a while, or using a crafting bench, he keeps wandering around and will not shut up! Every time he moves away and then moves back closer to me, he speaks. It's driving me mad. If all companions are like this, I have to find a mod to fix it (or uninstall this mod if it's causing it), or I'll just give up on traveling using companions.
Long story short if people don't want to click the link, No, this mod and Settler and Companion Dialogue Overhaul don't interact with one another, it doesn't matter where they sit in your load order.
Hanging out in The Dugout Inn with Settlers of the Commonwealth installed, the conversation is a bit broken. Unspoken, captioned dialog pops up that has lines from children in the schoolhouse (talking about Mr. Zwicky) but are attributed to the player, or one of the npcs from SOTC. I can't say for sure it's this mod, but it's the only thing I have affecting dialog on this character.
EDIT: I do have a couple other mods that affect the Inn's cell, a Glory companion and Ellen the Cartographer. And just now, Glory explained why she likes math lol
Does this mod modify the relaxation/break times for settlers for when they stop working and go around the settlement to use relax/sandbox markers? If not, could you make it so that settlers get off work at 6 PM and relax for the rest of the day?
There is a mod "Stop and Relax" by Cristian Lazaro which causes the settlers to stop working at a certain time and spend the rest of the day in relaxed mode.
