Introduction

The Lee Enfield series of rifles served as the British Army's standard infantry armament from 1895 until 1957, seeing extensive usage in both world wars. The rifles underwent a multitude of design changes during this period, becoming shorter, lighter, and easier to manufacture. The particular rifle in this mod is a hybridisation of the No. 1 Mk. III and No. 4 Mk. I pattern rifles, using the receiver of the No. 1 and the stock/barrel of the No. 4. The Short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) rifles gained a reputation for being very fast, accurate, and deadly in combat due to their fast-locking bolt and comparatively high magazine capacity of 10 rounds (most rifles of the era only held 5 rounds).

This mod does not require any DLC or secondary mods to function properly.

Features

  • Custom Mesh
  • Custom 2K Textures
  • Custom 1st and 3rd Person Animations
  • Custom Sounds
  • 8 Receivers, 2 Stock Colors, 3 Sights, 2 Barrel Lengths, and 2 Muzzle Attachments.

Location

There is one rifle placed in-game, located within the Valentine Detective Agency, on the second floor, sitting upon a pile of bricks.

Alternatively, the rifle can be obtained through the use of console commands. Type "player.additem xx000F9E 1" into the console, where "xx" is my mod's position in your load order. If you don't know how to check the load order, type "help "enfield" 4" into the console and use the weapon's base ID from there.

Installation

To install the mod, simply extract the folder labeled "Data" into your Fallout 4 main directory, and allow all folders to merge. Then, activate the .esp in your load order. Or, you could use the Nexus Mod Manager.
