    A couple of bug fixes in this one. Firstly for those of you having trouble with Nat getting all surly and uncooperative when her affinity threshold is reached, I have fixed a problem with how the thresholds were handled. She will stand around a bit until you go up to her and then she should greet you as uncle/aunt Blue. After that she should go back to normal running around and doing your bidding. The second fix removes the female player 1st person hands I inadvertently added to the BA2 file last time. Enjoy!

    I've been overwhelmed by the reaction to this mod, thanks to everyone for the support :) With a mod of this complexity there were bound to be bugs and I am working on fixes for all those that have been reported. Could I ask a favour? If you find an issue, can you log a bug report? It only takes a couple of minutes and it really helps to keep track of problems and issues rather than them getting lost in the comments section.

    Please give a description of what steps you took before the issue occurred and then a brief overview of the problem. Please also add a list of other mods you have loaded.

    For those of you having problems recruiting Nat, as a last resort you can enter the following console command: SetStage COMPiperNat 20
    This will force the quest to start up, recruit Nat and skip the dialogue leading up to the recruitment phase.

    Sorry to abandon this mod which apparently still has a few bugs here and there which need to be ironed out. Not really surprising as it was hellishly complex to put together! I don't know when and if I will have time to look at the bugs as my life is pretty hectic at the moment. If you want to try out the mod anyway I would advise you to save the game so you can go back to before you installed it just in case there are problems. To avoid any potential issues please ensure you have talked to Piper about the interview she wants to do before loading the mod. Once the Mod Quest starts, try to complete the Recruit Nat Quest in a linear fashion and if using AFT, don't dismiss Piper until Nat has found and entered her Power Armor. Once this is done, the Quest should complete and you shouldn't have any further issues.

    Great mod.

    Despite the fact that all Fallout 4 companions are good (unlike Fallout: New Vegas, where I only used Boone and E-DE, or custom companions like Joshua Graham or Sarah Weintraub), I had always prefered Piper, so allowing the Sole Survivor (at least, the male Sole Survivor) to recruit Nat is the perfect way to give him a second chance to rebuild his life.

    It'd be great if she had a default firearm like the other followers. I give her a gun and before long she's back to using fists because she ran out of ammo.

      If you use Amazing Follower Tweaks by  Dheuster you can go to settings and set her ammo to unlimited.  Honestly the way the NPC's shoot and waste bullets it should be a requirement.

      Yeah so true, while i did play with Ellen the cartographer just playing her affinity at max level she spent over 10k ammo.

    Really wanted this mod to work, however, Nat goes all unclothed slenderman, whilst using power armor, in addition to being a coward and runs away in a fight.
    I've also tried equipping other armors, as someone had posted that she will use CBBE, but unfortunately in my case, there seems to be no "equip" function when I have tried it. (the clothing provided in this mod is useless as armor in survival)
    She appears to be completely useless in combat, and as a companion due to this.

    If anyone has addressed these issues, please post the fixes.

      Hey friend, I will compile:
      -for the "fleeing problem" use in console target NPC: Aggression: setav 2bc 0-3 (0 = cowardly up to 3 = frenzied) Confidence: setav 2bd 0-4 (0 = unconfident up to 4 = fanatical) Assistance: setav 2c1 0-2 (0 = no assistance, 1 assist friends, 2 assist friends and allies)

      I suggest to set confidence at 4. 

      For the problems with the Armour, I recommend awkcr and armorsmith extended. They will allow to equip any Armour with the child clothes that nat have.

      Hello from the fuuuuture!!!
      Yea, I have the same problem. Also, I have the Point Lookout mod, and I think the two clash when it comes to dialogue (Point Lookout alters the dialogue selection, but seems to work the same, anyway) I can't give Nat orders, and she won't enter the power armor on her own. Using console commands I got back a little functionality, but when she got into the power armor, I got the same ghastly, headless monster affect you describe.
      I also can't dismiss her, and when I take on another follower to dismiss her, there's no option to send her to a settlement.

      Really, the best thing would have been an armor mod for children, alone. This would have allowed for all types of armor to be given to child companions, including Jr. power armor. Vanilla Nat could then have been made a follower through console commands, and the affect would have been almost the same.

      Try using a mod called YA_npcb Nat which makes her grown up then when she gets in her armor hit ~ and type
      setscale 1.  This will make her behave correctly in any power armor and
      not look so out of place in a firefight.

      Edit: That mod also makes her very useful in combat, in fact her perception is amazing and
      she warns me ahead of time of zombies hiding in the bushes and s#*!
      which every other companion somehow fails to do.

    For anyone having issues getting Piper to recruit simply open up your console and type:
    "setstage B5007A592 2"
    This advances the quest to the stage where she asks to come with you so next time you see her she should talk to you. However, this does skip the scene where Nat asks Piper if she can come along. If this command doesn't work, type "Help Nat 4" and then scroll up until you find QUST COMPiperNat and replace the quest id from the previous command with the one listed in your game. I'm not sure if quest ID's vary with load order or not.

      Thanks! I did this while Piper was with me next to Nat and the dialog scene happened.
      Charisma check passed and instant follow.

      In order to prevent bugs in future play-throughs:

      Get Piper and go straight to Nat, Hire her then return to Sanctuary, talk to Sturges then go do stuff
      in the area for a couple of in game days(make contact with the nearby settlements etc. 

      after a couple of in game days Make sure Nat is the only
      companion (or at least in the Main slot) then talk to Sturges again and WALK STRAIGHT TO Red Rocket and stand on the quest marker spot. (make sure you haven't built something on the spot)  after she gets in the armor then she'll be a solid unbuggy companion.  Easily the most underrated in the game.

    I know this mod is abandoned but just want to say Sturges doesnt make the power armor and it makes Piper bugged where she won't engage in dialogue with me at all. Uninstalled the mod and loaded a save before it was installed and Piper still won't talk which is weird. Not sure what this mod did but it sort of fugged up my game a bit but Piper is only one companion.

    LOVE this mod.  Natalie adds soo much needed innocents and brightness do a devestated world. 

    It's been about 5 years since this mod stopped updating but I would definitely grab it along with https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31921 to make her older, she's just too out of place out in the waste as an 10 y.o. this one makes her at least adult size but she keeps her sweet heart.

    You will have to use ~ then target Nat in the power armor then setscale 1 to make the power armor adult size again. 

    I love the power armor quest I wish the mods could elaborate on her story line more but finding voice actors for her and sturgeon was obviously not in the budget lol!  Much love to you Jonny!

    Edit: I would ditch the PA frame and sell the pieces just to avoid issues.  I eventually got her to stop changing the PA sizes but I don't remember how lol.

    love the mod but putting her in her power armor just no i cant bad sight.she looses her cloths and the power armor is invisable just a verry bad sight
