Q: If my screen resolution is 1080p or 720p do I still need a 4K texture?
A: The Screen resolution is not the same as texture resolution. The resolution for the texture is independent and is not affected by screen resolution. So... You can have a CRT screen with 800x600 and a 4K texture would still be better and sharper than a 2K texture.
Q: Can this mod cause bugs?
A: No Textures can't cause bugs, the only thing they could cause when properly textured is when your graphic card don't have enough vram and displays purple textures. Now as you see, it's still not caused by my mod but by the user side.
The game is very buggy, but we can't fill my site with bugs that can't be caused by my mod.
Fallout only has one moon and it's based upon Earth's own moon. This Wiki talks about the moon: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Moon.
Before Bethesda had the Fallout Series, the original company was not affiliated with Bethesda and made Fallout based upon a 1950ish theory of what Earth's own future would be after a nuclear fallout. So far Bethesda has not said anything about Fallout and The Elder Scrolls being on in the same universe since they've acquired the Fallout Series. Everything they put in game that doesn't mesh with Fallout 4's history is considered an Easter Egg and they pull Eater eggs from all different places, not just their own games.
Actually, Secunda is flagged to be hidden in the game's climate settings - what's normally seen ingame is defined as Masser in the climate settings. I was actually just about to post a comment myself wondering if Secunda might get a retexture alongside 'Masser'.
Didnt understand you quite well but in game these 2 moons (?) are individual. Installing masser's retexture doesnt effect secunda (in game moon is secunda, dont know about climate settings). I'm not sure why these 2 are bound in climate settings (if i understand that correctly) while they're individual in game. Why masser is even in there anyways? Curious
I think according to selenameeka, they just left it in there for easter egg or just so much lazy to remove that ._.
Yes. That. Was coming here to make this very comment. Just got done with an ultra modded skyrim playthrough so it was fresh on my mind. Oh Bethesda (womp-womp) *canned laughter erupts- credits roll*
Still this is the best moon retext for this game...I tried many mods which replace the moon, but this is the most realistic one. It doesnt make the moon too close, or too highly detailed.
Making the Moon very detailed is unrealistic, as you cannot see it like that with the naked eye....and I dont want to see Ms. Robinson washing and then hanging her clothes to dry up there on the surface...and you can definitely see that with all these detailed moon retexture mods....and thats stupid.
I actually use this mod to fix another hd texture pack, which, imo, effs up the moon, making it too clear....and all these HD texture replacers which touch the moon, disables the moon's glow/corona....which, imo, is a must have, especially with the night lighrays enabled.
Legit. This just shows that nobody has ever actually seen the moon at night from their window. When you put your thumb next to the moon from your FOV, the moon is a quarter of the size of your thumb. Ugh...
Thanks for the great mod. Just a question though. Why the Heck did Bethesda give the Earth two moons. Because as far as I know, the fallout series happens on Earth, which as we all know, only has one moon. Is it a Skyrim hangover? No reflection on you. Just my observation. Thanks for the Re-Tex.
